I doubt Australia would take you. America's at the bottom of the ladder when it comes to first-world countries. Unless you have an advanced degree in something useful, you're probably SOL. Also on that topic, Obama hasn't done anything wrong. Because he hasn't done anything. All he's done is to continue the legacy of s**t pushed by the neocons since the Reagan years. I know guys like you think that just 3 years ago America was the very bestest at everything that ever was, but reality begs to differ. The downfall of America began far before anyone ever knew the name "Barack Obama". Far before that.

There are two ways of becoming a desirable immigrant. One is to bring a lot of money into your new country. The other, as you point out, is to bring skills necessary in the markets of the new country. A third reason, political asylum would not be applicable to united stateseans since with have a relatively free democratic system of government and rights are on the whole respected. Obviously there are grievous exceptions, but they are.... execptions.... not the usual thing. Most people are not important enough to have their rights interfered with.

I am a bit confused I don't see why its so shocking or racist for someone to say if Obama wins black on white violence could increase.....I don't know that there are any facts to back this up but I guess I am just confused about how that statement was so bad considering it did not actually include any racist stereotypes.
