But don't you think that you are right about not thinking you are always right?

Watch out, Shiggily! There's a mind-f**k headed your way!

it is not really a mind-F**ck. I do not always think I am wrong and I don't always think I am right. I merely take into account the possibility and that is why I keep my views open

It is possible to have specific views and to also be open-minded.

yes. Provided that you do not identify yourself as those views to the point that you are no longer willing to let them go.

Which people are not willing to do. Case in point, go look at the what would it take you to change your views thread.

so you just pick certain people you dislike and believe that they are all liars. And you don't think that you are lying to yourself.

All people lie. the people who agree with you lie, the people who don't agree with you lie, you lie, I lie, everyone lies.

and I am not the one who consistently brings up the Judeo-christian religion and islam. you are. I say god in general (as a supernatural being of unknown origin) and you consistently refer to the God of the Bible and the Koran.

And you also seem to let your emotions get the best of you in assuming that if a select group of people are corrupt then all people associated with those people are also corrupt.

(warning: severe sarcasm)
It would be like me saying I don't think we should be allies with Germany and Japan because of WW2, Russia because of the cold war, or England because of the Revolutionary war. And while I am at it I hate all white people for slavery, all black people because a cousin of mine was robbed once, all men because some jerk leered at me in a bar, all Asians because of the Korean and Vietnam war (and all asians are the same anyway), and on and on and on

... until eventually there is no one new left to hate

No I still don't think so. Hate is not a lie anymore than love is. Plus, Russia was innocent during the cold war, the US started making threats to them because of their rising knowledge in technology. So, understandably they made them back in order to protect their lands. I'm not sticking up for communism I'm just saying.. It's western arrogence that started that one, as usual.
And again, no it would not be like you saying that, I still hate the values they have to this day, all it causes is trouble and restriction without reason. It's the belief itself that puts a cap of (as desired because of the belief) ignorence and hypocrisy on humanity. So yes, I still have a problem with it. I still feel anger about what they did a long time ago, because they are still doing it (except this time in a non violent way), and what they did to my ancestors is just unforgivable.
By the way, I like the way England treated the early US, the pilgrims were a bunch of freaks anyway. They can cry about not being liked over there and then kill all the natives in the new world and steal their land because they are "better".. Typical christ-like behavior.

bwhahahahahahahah......

"no I am not like that.... but... yeah... I am a little like that.... but no I am not like that. I hate people because of who they are. It's all their fault. not my fault for hating everyone... it's everyone's fault for being so hateable."

I lol-ed

hate is not a lie and neither is love. But the reasons people use to justify hate can be as much of a lie as the reasons people use to justify love.

There you go saying I hate "everyone" again.. I give up talking to you no offense. I don't lie about my feelings towards others, since you're convinced I lie at all, which I don't.

I don't think you are lying about your feelings. actually believe that you feel intense animosity towards entire groups of people. I think you "convince" yourself of logical justifications to feel what you want to feel. You rationalize why you feel the way you feel. Much in the same way a woman who hates men will say it is perfectly justifiable to hate 50% of the world's population because her father raped her. Did her father rape her? yes, not a lie. Does she hate men? yes, not a lie. Is her line of reasoning that justifies why she hates men logical? no, she is over generalizing and extrapolating from specific circumstances to an entire group of people. She is lying to herself by providing random reasons to justify why she feels the way she feels.

I could see you saying "I don't like ________ who _______" provided that your justification is logical. such as "I don't like Muslims who bomb people", or "I don't like politicians who steal taxpayer money and sleep with little boys"

because it is not the group you dislike as much as the action. In your instance you are saying "I don't like [insert entire group of people] because all of them [insert random reason]. Your justification is not logically sound. There are plenty of very good people within that group who do not necessarily follow that action. But you lie to yourself to make yourself believe that everyone in that group participates in some activity or belief that you do not like and therefore everyone in the group is deserving of your disdain.

Again, you have misunderstood my standpoint. Being a christian for example implies that you follow certain values and stride to be a certain way. That WAY disgusts me. So if you are that way, you disgust me as well. With that being the case, there is no true "good" christian. Sure, they are all different people, but they are all the same in that way. So it DOES make sense to put all of them into one generalization. If I knew nothing of christianity, and had one of them hurt me I wouldn't have a right to say I hate all of them. Since that's not the case, I can say this. And I will.
What they did, is just simply an extra thing for me to dislike them for.

I'm still in agreement with Shiggily on this one. Your attempts to rationalize and justisfy your hatrd for an entire group of people is quite transparent, volume.

No one misunderstood your standpoint.

i want to answer the original topic title and i have not read all the posts.

the perfect blueprint is one that is set in motion at the beginning of existence and unfolds flawlessly forever.

there is no need for corrections or alterations (interference) in a perfect blueprint for infinity of manifestation.

yeah all those disgusting people like Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, Jesus (he was the most disgusting of all), Tolkein was an ass, so was CS Lewis, Kepler, Pascal, Leeuwenhoek, Linnaeus, Euler, Cauchy, Boole, Kelvin, Riemann, George Washington Carver (damn you and your disgusting peanut butter), Mendel, Newton, Wright brothers, Rembrandt, Bach, Handel Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Copernicus, Vermeer, Renoir, Galilei, and of course George Washington and Abraham Lincoln were total jerks (America doesn't need them)

you obviously know nothing of Christianity.

Course you can always attempt to argue that Hitler was Christian (he was as a youth). But somehow he doesn't seem to favor Christian in this quote "Hitler’s fond prediction that he would “destroy Christianity” and replace it with “a [pagan] religion rooted in nature and blood.”"
from a 108-page OSS outline, “The Persecution of the Christian Churches.”
http://www.boundless.org/2001/regulars/ ... 00541.html

Hitler privately loathed Christianity, calling it “a drug” and “senseless,” the “invention of sick brains.”
http://www.somareview.com/mostfamouschristian.cfm

though he was not atheist either. He was an opportunist.

my view is correct.
i am not suggesting there is a god or if it had a miraculous perfect blueprint.
but if there is a fuctioning universe, then it must have been set off with all it's laws firmliy in place.
the expansion of inevitability and effect is unbridled.
like an explosion can not be "steered" after it is detonated.
like an artillery shell is at the mercy of the correctness of it's calculated trajectory once it leaves the barrel.

it is not a "view" anyway. it is a logical inevitability that a perfect blueprint needs no alterations.

Exactly, all those people. They are the destroyers of my identity and humanity as a whole, of course I feel the way I do.

Just because some guy feels the same way about certain things as I do doesn't mean I agree with him completely. However, that conversation belongs to another thread.

I beg your pardon, then. It is a logical inevitability.

My thoughts, as well.

Do I keep coming back because I secretly enjoy all the insults and abuse? All the drama? All the animosity and mean-spiritedness? Yup, that's gotta be it.
