He won for 'not being Bush'...;)

Europe's a fascinating place to visit, but I couldn't afford to live there...;)

If only America would acknowledge the perpetual superiority of Europe, things would be fine...starting with France...;)

I just treat 'em as equals, and hope for the same...

Again: a lack of comprehension about why the other nations are important and why there needs to be a cohesiveness in action.

It's not so much sucking up to the other nations so much as combining resources to have a more effective global community and economy. America hasn't been living up to that bargain from the actions taken with Iraq and Iran to constant protection of Israel to where any attempt at action in the UN is invalidated and made useless.

You can't keep playing your own game and expect to be considered to be playing well with others. The world is very quickly shrinking and the country cannot afford (especially at such a time as this economic bungling) to become an island from the rest of the civilized world.

You misunderstand me, I'm not preaching isolationism here, I'm just talking about me personally. Just like how I conduct myself day to day, from the way I dress to how I go about doing things, I don't put a whole lot of stock into what others think about me, it's just not that important to me. As far as international relations go, I have no problem working cooperatively with the rest of the world, I just don't really care what they happen to think about us, unless someone goes from simple dislike to active hostile actions, at which point I'm more than happy to drop the hammer on them.

(In the video above) How'd they find such an unknowledgeable old man? In fact, the whole video seemed void of intelligent Americans... I suspect that the editors intentionally removed any correct answers.

Seriously, are Americans really that stupid?

Maybe I should perform my own experiment... Dress in a suit, put on an accent... In general, look and sound official.
And then it's off to find the idiots!

Let me throw this out there before y'all begin, I don't really care what people from irrelevant/small countries in old Europe think of the US. Most Americans besides our beloved president probably feel the same way.

Most Americans are morons who don't comprehend politics.

Yep or people who greatly misinterpret them or despise it so much that they don't even vote.

I just think it's easy for Europeans to stand on their high horse. They benefit from America being America.

Wow. Trying to listen to Canadian French is like trying to listen to Scotsmen speak English--I don't know what's going on.

We'll be like Germany was in WWII.

France, Britain, Germany, Italy and its other allies will kick our ass.

Before you know it, it'll be a bloody WW3 on U.S. soil....

Why sure, America is a place of democracy and freedom, as it always has been. We've never used nuclear weapons, and will always openly share anything our government does.

Even when our brave heroes are forced to go to war by outside influences, we always fight fairly.

God bless America.

How long did that post take? I found that really clever. (Doesn't happen often.)

Europe's "horse" was killed in the Great War (1914-1918).
