At least since I've been here the poster who mentions AR more than anyone else is someone who seems to blame her from everything from Enron to 9/11. Seriously, it's like every other post has to have a snide reference to Rand, far more so than the people who approve of her mention her.

Rand's philosophy is basically for people with access to resources who could afford to ignore one another. Ironically, it is mostly utilised by young idealists who don't come from very affluent backgrounds, even if objectivism is running counter to their interests.

It is no longer her meanness. The dead can be neither good, bad, generous nor mean. Her followers are another story. Rand set out to show the wretchedness of a government command and control society (which she knew first hand since she fled from Soviet Russia), but she ended up be a Den Mother to a group a losers.
