On the home page of www.elections.ca there is a tool to find your riding. On the riding page there is a link on the right (under the third heading, "Candidates") to provide you with a list of all confirmed candidates.

Each party's website also has candidate profiles.

Not Toe-wsing the party line topic

I do not agree with Russ regarding parties being the bogey monster, but I can see his independence as positive--for him.

There can be no federal leadership as he would never get a majority of seats, obviously.

I prefer non-partisanship at the municipal level, yet I can often be surprised when a local counsellor announces running federally and reveals party affiliation. :P

Right. but I am just voting for him to thumb my nose at the rest of them. I dont really care about his platform at all. Or I should say, I am not alarmed at it.
