We've had a millionaire in office since Truman left. I don't see anything different or special about this guy.

Who knows...maybe Trump will be the GOP's choice for vice-president.

If Trump does run, maybe he will run as a third-party candidate, a la Ross Perot.

Trump is just using politics just to boost ratings for The Apprentice/The Celebrity Apprentice.

I doubt Trump will even run at all.

I think he has too much of a publicly shady history to ever be taken seriously, but if it comes down to that and he gets elected by the diebold voting machines....I think I will join some comune out in the boonies somewhere are prepare for economic disaster...like homesteading and collecting silver and amunition.

I personally think this is a publicity stunt for his crappy reality tv show, but the idea that someone like the Donald could even consider running for president and not be laughed out by serious journalist and politicians, and actually be considered a realistic candidate, is a sign of how sick the political process is. Trump is a guy who known for having a really bad haircut,marrying expensive european models every ten years, having a really crappy reality tv show, and kicking poor black people out of their homes. Where in that previous sentence does it show that the Hairpiece might have political experience? The POTUS used to be a prestigous position, it used to be that only experienced statesmen, well-decorated high ranking military leader, or anyone who has a reputation for getting things done, would only run for president. But now it seems anyone with alot of money and a pulse seems to be running for presidency, no experience and intellect required. This is a sign of a society to sick to survive.

Trump has speculated about running for several elections in the past, he never followed through. If you look at his Bio, you see a man who inherited a real estate company from his father and came out bankrrupt (as other posters have pointed out). Meanwhile, his T.V. personality is a joke, literally everyone I know finds him obnoxious and only watches him out of morbid curiosity. It's also ironic that he has less formal education that Obama.

A media me-me piece of s**t celebrity that bankrupt his casino and is up there with Newt and Palin as my least favorite candidates running for president.

Trump has made it clear that he's just as much a lunatic as Sarah Palin with as much of a chance of getting elected: slim to none. If by some anti-miracle one of them DOES get elected though, I'd have to find some other place to go. Canada would be too close, I'd want to stay in either Asia or Europe at least until a slightly more sane democrat gets elected again.

I HATE the man. Well not really, but what he'd do in office scares me.

I do however think that obama, or whomever comes after, would do well to enlist the guy as a "specialist" diplomat for negotiating trade relations and the like. He might be useful.. but needs to be kept on a leash. (Gotta give the guy props, he is a billionaire, so he knows how to get people to do what he wants. That doesn't mean I'd trust the guy to handle a nuclear arsenal, or keep the middle east from imploding)
