Then, we'll raise taxes on the rich. I wonder why no-one ever thought of that?

And when the rich move offshore? Then what.

Costa Rica would love to have them come down and live there and charge very low taxes, too.

Until the CR people realize that the rich Americans are living too well and they tax them worse than in the US.

Since we are talking about the US. Let's stop saying "raise the tax on the rich" and say "make it so the rich people actually pay as many taxes as we do", instead.

Yes. I buy that. No more government subsidies for anyone.

It would be nice to have the election immediately, if it meant B.O. would not finish out his term.

But:

A. The best potential candidates will not run.

B. The best of those who run will not be nominated

C. The best of the nominees will not win.

D. The winner will be the candidate that the bigwigs of the party with the best advertising consultants thinks has the best marketability.

Win first, worry about running the country later.

What about Stephen Colbert? At least he is the most honest and entertaining candidate of the lot.

Gee, most of us didn't know Colbert
was copying Robin Williams from the
movie Man of the Year.

I would vote against the Republican nominee.
As usual.

frankly i think Huntsman's track record as governor of Utah paints him as more liberal than Obama.
