Would you cover for a loved one who committed murder?

I wouldn't know what to do...
I wouldn't hate them but I would have no idea whether I should tell somebody or cover up for them.

Who killed someone? Depends on the circumstance as circumstance determines whether it was moral or not.

Who murdered someone? I would more likely turn them in. Murder is immoral killing, otherwise we should just drop unnecessary labels since it all meant the same thing and are moral equivalents. But again, circumstance is key, but... most likely, as in 75% chance I would turn them in.
