How can a Christian also be a Republican?
So-called "Christians" have hijacked the Republican party, with their Evango-Fascist ideologies. Spanish and Italian fascists also enjoyed the support of "Christians." Democrat and Labour parties have not claimed to be the exclusive domain of Christianity. However, the overall goals of the Democrat and Labour parties would be much more consistent with a genuinely Christian outlook.
No, supporting sexual immorality, infanticide, lack of death penalty for murderers and rapists, and otherwise PC crap is not consistent with a "genuinely Christian outlook" unless one has some very warped definitions for either the word "genuine", "Christian", or both.
A genuinely Christian outlook calls for complete forgiveness. I'm not saying that Democrats live up to this ideal. Only that Republicans certainly don't. And, Republicans shouldn't pretend that Christianity calls for anything other than complete forgiveness.

Okay you want to claim that, so are you a Christian?

I might give the life peanlty to rapists.
First, the word "read" is not spelled "red", Bible is a proper noun,
Aha, so I am dealing with a pedant, lovely. I know how read is spelled and the Bible written but I wouldn't have thought it was worth bothering about when even you knew what I was saying. Well, I guess someone has to get hot under the collar, and I know your correction was not an act of charity either.
And yet in the old testament there's a part of the Bible where a slave girl is gang raped to death.
By the way it's 'The' Bible. Not just Bible.
Also you should have put a full stop after "red". Sentences don't end with commas. They end with semi-colons or full-stops (or periods if you are American).

I'm not making a claim that I am a Christian. Only pointing out what I perceive as a disparity between Christianity and Republicanism. Not claiming to be a Christian equips me with a license to identify specks in the eyes of others while ignoring the logs in my own eye.
Libertarians subscribe to the idea that government should back off. That the federal government should be smaller than the local government. I fail entirely to see how that has to do with religion.
As to your other statement, am I paying taxes? Yes and thank you, even if I believe it's being stolen, so again, I don't see how that applies.

That's like saying that the reporting of an event thereby justifies it. You're referring to the wife of a Levite who was killed in a town of a region of the tribe of Benjamin during the period of the Judges. That "gang raping of a slave girl" was the event which started a war. Now if you actually know enough of the Bible yourself, you're probably are going to go into the confused manner in which the war was waged and resolved in absence of the context of history and then go about spinning it according to modern journalistic practices.

Do you disagree with Jesus about actual sin?
Ok, this is a bit out of context. Those people were charging for entry to church even though they didn't have the authority to.

What, are you even being serious?
Here is Ayn Rand herself

Ayn Rand isn't a libertarian. She's a cultist with no understanding of the free market.

Again
Regardless of whether you believe that your money is being stolen, a genuine Christian would simply allow his money to be taken.

Ah, so you have an interpretation of Christianity which is only for Christians to follow, but not for yourself? Fine. Yes, there's going to be disparity between Christianity and Republicanism. They are far from being the same, but in terms of parties which are likely to win with America's messed up electoral system, they are, IMO, the lesser of two evils.

Wrong. I am referring to the death of a daughter who was also a concubine who was gang raped.

No, the outer court of the Temple in Jerusalem back in the 1st Century AD was the court for Gentile believers in God to worship Him. The people who were exchanging money for sacrificial animals were taking up space and being a distraction. It wasn't that they were "charging entry" unless you're seeking to use the vaguest of terms. I suppose that could be the case though, since an analogous assembly place to a church prior to the destruction of the temple in 70 AD would have been a synagogue.
