Human, obviously, and autistic.

I might regret asking but what makes you think he was autistic?

His attitude to other people, the fact he could heal people, how he could see what people would do in the future. If you were autistic and your special interest was people you would wind up with a very Jesus-like perspective. I identify with him a lot.

I've never heard of autistics having healing powers or clairvoyance and none of the stories about him (that I remember) involved him having to get away from people to calm himself, in fact I think he was always accompanied by several people.

I don't think Jesus had clairvoyance. Healing is easy; you just accept people, touch them and they feel it burning and healing them. I assume it's an autistic thing, I've always been able to do it. I'm sure he took breaks from people, but how would you know if no one was there to tell the story?

Look at his quotes about people and ask yourself if they're more NT or autistic. Do you really think Jesus was NT? Seems implausible to me.

I'm pretty sure healing powers is firmly located in the category of pseudoscience.

Because you haven't thought about it with imagination. 'Healing' just means bringing someone back into the real world. A dying person will still be dying, we aren't talking about magic, but you can love them and accept them as an equal and this stops them fighting demons in their mind, then the mental wellbeing produced from this also has a pronounced physical effect. Science is catching up to the healing effects of love. I just happen to understand it. Jesus clearly did too.

Except it's stated that Jesus is very clearly capable of instantly healing physical afflictions (ie: leprocy). The power of love can't do that.

As a Lutheran raised by Lutherans, I'll chime in with the traditional view that he was both God and man. Or as John put it, "the Word made flesh."

Jesus was probably a historical figure. He was probably a carpenter and a good speaker. He was a socialist.
He was a philosopher.
He was not the son of god. He could not do miracles.
The bible is not meant to be taken literally. It is symbolic.
God did not create the wold in seven days and Jesus did not rise from the dead.

Jesus is also one of my neighbors. He is in the landscaping business.
It's a very common Hispanic name.

Nothing can do that. It's fictional. They made that bit up.

You say Jesus is God.

But all men or mortal and Jesus is a man therefore Jesus is mortal.
But Jesus is God. Therefore God is mortal.

Alright, you're making a pretty big deal about something quite simple though (ie: patients surrounded by loved ones are generally in better moods and more motivated to work towards recovery).

I still don't know why your assumption that Jesus understood this love-induced healing power makes him autistic though.

He did it with complete strangers. NTs see their family as their family, not all mankind.

But Christ was also human, and could die. He then was resurrected, and thus lives eternally.
That's our story, and I'm sticking with it.

That's quite the generalisation, how did you reach that conclusion?

As a side note I'll add that I hold my immediate family above humanity as a whole, this forum has shown me that I'm not the only one who does and I'm certainly not NT.

You don't think that rules of fairness apply to everyone, not just people you like?

What does that have to do with loving everyone equally or with your claim that Jesus was autistic?

Jesus had no respect for social hierarchies. He was totally autistic.
