Was violence the answer when it came to WW2?

During WW2, was violence 'the answer'?
Yes, without the Allied bravery and defense, we'd be ruled by Nazis 92%  92%  [ 12 ]
No, it could have been solved through other means. And I question how justified the Allies were. 8%  8%  [ 1 ]

I had relatives who brought back souvenirs too. They were marines who served in the south Pacific and the souvenirs were made from Japanese people, mostly.

There is no defense; no one ever won a war by merely defending his homeland. There is only attack, attack, and attack again until the enemy is so utterly defeated that they never again even contemplate the possibility of war.

Germany, Italy, and Japan have not been a problem since WWII - Mission Accomplished.

Only losers never fight back.

Look again - They're all facing greater financial hardship than the U.S. of A., although Germany is not the wurst of the lot.
