What is God?
"What is God?" is a question that has been asked since the dawn of time.
I don't think there is one correct answer to that, it's something we all see differently.
Some see "God" as the name of a nameless individual.
Others see "god" as a ever present force.
Still others deny the existence of such a thing.
Is "God" someone?, something?, just an idea, a concept?
Maybe "god" is just a placeholder for "That which is beyond understanding."
My concept of "god" has changed continuously throughout my life, and will continue to do so.
Really god is just this.... ![]()

I think a better question is what is not God. Only a creature with the ability to imagine themselves separate from what is, would consider such a thing.
Modern science provides evidence that at one point in time we were all part of the same point. If so, to date, all of us have been materially connected to that same point through a series of material events, where if any part of that chain of material connections had been broken we would not exist. In effect, from what we know through science, we have all been here in some material form, for around 14 billion years.
In someways our ability to imagine ourselves separate from what is may make us more limited than some other animals. It does not appear that most have developed the potentially horrifying ability to imagine themselves separate from what is.
Modern culture magnifies our ability to experience this illusion of separation, however it also provides logic through science to dispell the illusion.
Separating oneself from the experience of that illusion of separation, does not appear to be part of normal human nature, as it exists in modern culture.
In effect, that illusion of separation, is part of what is for these humans.
Modern Science has done an amazing job of coming close to providing some evidence that "nothing" doesn't exist. However, only a human being could imagine that "nothing" exists. It has taken quite a scientific effort to come close to dispelling that human construct. ![]()
