Why is Newt Gingrich thought of so highly by the right?

Good point. And many a republican with moral sentiments considers Newt a disgusting person.

Things bode ill with the Republican Dough Boy.

Right now the only choices are Mitt Romney who is made of plastic and Ron Paul who is unfit to lead the nation in time of war. It looks like another 4 years of Obama.

Obama's alienating his base. He talks liberal then acts conservative. The only reason I can see for a liberal voting for Obama over a moderate Republican is fear of the Republican having to cater to their own base. Otherwise I wouldn't expect any more conservative policies from someone like Romney than Obama's been giving us.

He is the Republican dough boy. By the way, Democrats on average are just about as out of shape as Republicans. It is an American thing.
