Our democratic party is far right?  I really don't know about that one. Unless you consider real neutral leftism as Amsterdam or Ibiza, I really don't know how it is your drawing your conclusions on that.

Well, far right by UK political standards anyway...... Your Democrats are generally about on the same level as our Tories, so they count as right wing nutters in my book.

Perhaps he's basing his conclusion on their party platform, which at first glance looks nearly identical to that of the Republicans.

However, many of the voters (myself included) would disagee that the parties are identical.

christian communism is an oxymoron. communist law states the abolishment of religion. Although fascinated with communism, iam not sure how trustworthy it is for limiting leader powers. I take a left wing liberal stance to politics and was just trying to keep an open mind. No need to fight.

The thread title was meant to be humorous rather than accurate, and I liked the alliteration.

We need to start a poll... how many of us vote libertarian, or have libertarian values? I don't really know how, or have the time to figure it out at the moment. Could you maybe do it for me, axelkat, if you don't mind?

Pretty pleeeese?? :D

The Libertarian Party is "the third-largest political party in the United States", in the same sense that Linux is the second most popular OS.

Their ideology is "we oppose all interference by government in the areas of voluntary and contractual relations among individuals".

Nonsense - true communism is basically just Christianity without the sucking up to God bits - its "Conservative Christian" that is the oxymoron.

Ahhh - I see... We do have them in the UK too, but over here they call themselves the "Monster Raving Loony Party".

The Natural Law Party was funnier though. Creating 'babbling bliss' through 'yogic flying' was the backbone of their election platform as I remember...
