I grew up in a family of mixed religion. My mother was Catholic, my father Baptist. This led me to become very confused about my spirituality.
Add me to your list of former Christians who were Catholic. :)

Im a former Catholic also, if anyone is interested the Freedom From Religion Foundation sells Debaptismal Certificates 2 for $5 they are signed by Dan Barker, former priest turned atheist who wrote the book Losing Faith in Faith: From Preacher to Atheist

Im gonna get one for me and my best friend, i just hate that technically im still legally a catholic because of my baptism, im gonna get the Debaptismal Certificate to sever my ties once and for all.

Here is a video of a debaptism by Bill Mahr, who is a former Catholic:

There is another one on YouTube where they use a hair dryer, but I can't find it.

Instead of a hymn, I would call it a "hmm," since it, instead, actually makes you think! :chin:
Just curious: what does it make you think?...if you don't mind me asking, that is. :)

Personally, I already agreed with you, so I just thought: "Right!" Those who are not sure about their beliefs might start to think about them. As I see it, "faith" results from a failure to think.
