I like politics because someone has to stand up and at least try to fix the world while the lazy idiots ruin it.

Thats part of my theory those standing up to fix the world are the ones that are causing the conflict. The lazy idiots like myself are not causing the conflict.

This is a general statement. It depends on HOW they are trying to fix it - removing 'force' or 'adding' to it

If your trying to change how people think or act with the purpose of improving the world I think thats usually bad. If your trying to develop a lowwer cost solar cell
for example thats likely good. But thats goes back to how I see science as truth so naturally improving solars cells is important to me. Since many of you have said science is seconday to you , you naturally think improving solar cells is less important than whatever your into (your religion, political ideas, etc). But I'm willing to say even
my faith in science is bullsh*t. Many of you are not willing to say the same for your core ideas. When I said I tought my core ideas were bullsh*t I guess some of you took that as I making an opening to accept your other ideas. Wrong its all bullsh*t brothers. My motivation for this thread again is all the fighting I see over issues here.
I say they and everything else does not matter. And pretending they do matter is hurting the world not helpping it. Me living mylife in peace is what the world needs more of. Not people trying to save it.

It is argued the art of 'meditating' started religions. It can be further argued that not many people actually practice that but they go to church (people are a lot of talk, not much action). Is it enough to simply 'hear' what religions talk about or is it best to actually 'feel' and understand 'why' they (religions) speak the way they do. I think that latter, regardless if any of the above is true or not. Still kind of looking into all of this so call 'BS' all you want.

I'm not here to 'save' the world, but point out that people don't do what is necessary to help it - they do not tell the truth, they are mainly not independent (herd mentality), they often do not own up to responsibility, etc. The rest just follows. You cannot expect a perfect society while people are lazy and irresponsible.

I dont believe in banning things or killing people over ideas - thats just stupid. If people were honest and responsible, you wouldnt need to ban things (I think you dont need to ANYWAYS). You wouldnt need to kill over an idea (during war) because of responsibility. Responsibility is a HUGE thing.

Is belief in responsibility "BS?" I will never say that.

Responsibility is a subjective term. I say if I'm not bothering anybody I'm responsible. If I start trying to push my thoughts on people thats bothering them.

Then we will introduce 'ability to keep an open mind.' While I have my beliefs, if something sounds better - I will adopt it.
