^^^^^^They do symbolize regeneration in many native cultures.
Babies umbilical cords would be placed in beaded pouches resembling lizards for protection
Some salamanders can regenerate body parts.
Seems like we should have kept that ability when we evolved..
Yeah,they are a special interest.
