Fascinating posts even if it might take me several weeks to track down the rather discordant range of ideas herein.

Much has been said about cheap oil and its role in the globalisation phenomenon and then again, all the effects of the globalisation on neuro-diverse people.

A general question: is the inevitable return to expensive oil (or rather, expensive energy in general) going to be a good thing or a bad thing for the neuro-diverse?

Note: In posing my question I fully realize I am making some emphatic assumptions about the state of energy resources and supply and demand for energy in the future. Are your assumptions in this regard the same as mine?

the right to bare arms is to protect yourself from a tyrannical goverment and for the people to fix the tyrannical problem. the founding fathers knew that no goverment stays pure forever. every single word on the constitution was debated over for months.

You've already admitted to owning at least a .380 (a pitiful little thing but a gun just the same) so it's kinda late to take the ant-gun stance if that's where you're going.

Owning weapons is in my opinion an attempt to simplify problem-solving processes i.e simply impose your will on others by force of arms. Of course, it might be that you want to stop others imposing their will on you be having at least as much firepower at your disposal as they have at theirs. Unfortunately, this community-level arms race is a no-win game i.e it is simply MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction).

So aspies ruled in the pre industrial, and early (wood and coal burning) industrial times.

But we were all dethroned to our current fallen state because of oil. But might return to our former days of glory again when they replace oil as an energy source.

Is that the ghist of this?

Oil is the reason that autistic people arent accepted by society?

Where is your evidence of an autistic utopia in ancient and medeaval times?

Huh?Where did you get that idea?I was just recalling what they said in school about the redcoats.What gun do you suggest I have?A 45??30/30??I do have a little .25, and a .22 rifle,I'm sure you consider them puny,but a good shot can take down a deer with a .22.And the .380 is a good little gun,it does have a laser sight and is a Smith &Wesson.

Peak oil (or peak fossil fuels) will come, the state of energy sources merely affects the timing.
