I was beginning to think that I could post almost any lie on this website and have it go unchallenged ...

I voted no. Because an Obama impeachment is just a Republican wet dream, now that Romney and the lunatic birther crowd failed to oust him. Impeachment would be a colossal waste of time and money, as the number of congressional votes needed for success are hardly available. And in all honesty, how many Republicans really give a crap about the killing of American converts to Islam who threaten American lives? Or the collateral damage from drone strikes? Or even the jailing of whistle blowers? In fact, most Republicans get off over that stuff. Especially since the domestic spying was a legacy of the Bush years, Republican outrage on this matter is rather disingenuous.
Don't hold your breath concerning an Obama impeachment, let alone a conviction.

So, you don't actually care about right and wrong, just about the politics of it?


I'm being a realist. On top of that, I'm more concerned about healthcare and civil rights (in this case, for gays), which President Obama has championed.
And as I said earlier, this is mostly about the Republicans' wet dream of getting rid of Obama; it's the Republicans who actually could care less about the points they want to impeach him on.

Impeached, tried, convicted, tarred & feathered, signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public inquiry, lost again, and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighters.

He could be impeached, the GOP controls the House and there is just cause. He wouldn't be convicted tho since the Dems control the senate and they will never abandon their leader no matter how much of a dictator he becomes.
