We'll have to disagree there, Ferraluce. As long as those fantasies have no effect on anyone who does not explicitly consent to being involved in them, I believe AP has a right to enjoy them. If he wants to post about it, other people can certainly criticize them.

Read my statement carefully... I did not state he has no right to his fantasies... I stated that he does not when he is engaging in sexism... Which is to say... if he is acting on them, he is engaging in sexism, which is directly infringing on another's rights and personal space...

I said what I meant, and I meant what I said...

I've never met anyone that worships the "feminine genius" whatever that means, I somewhat doubt that's how the guy in that article talks that way around other men.

The "benevolent sexism" in the article seemed rather lame. Holding doors open, male being the default on a web form, and being asked for her feminine point of view. Sounds really oppressed...

I don't see the point of benevolent sexism. Wtf have women done to deserve that s**t? As in, they don't deserve to be marginalized, nor do they deserve all these lovely little favors. This is stupid.

Not by anyone other than my mother. Same goes with begin called 'Dear,' 'Sweetheart,' or 'Hon.'

As for 'what women have done to deserve it,' they have submitted. Benevolent sexism was the reward for submitting. There is no place for it in a world where submission to malevolent sexism isn't necessary.
