I think it would not just depend on belief, but conviction of that belief and a persons faith, more than just their belief.

I just feel that if I believed in something that could easily be removed by magnetic force, then I didn't really believe in it to start with.

....and I have some pretty deep beliefs.

Suffice to say, if magnets could make me disbelieve that the world is going to crap...that'd be cool.
