I didn't say there were millions of secret Klansmen, but that millions of people go onto white supremacist sites because they secretly agree with that sort of hate, but fear the public reaction to their bigotry. They aren't waiting for any sort of coded messages for them to spring into action, but recognize hate when it's hidden behind more polite language (thugs code for blacks, illegals code for Latinos). No, they aren't waiting to be led, but will follow someone like Trump who says the things they secretly believe.
And that star in the pic isn't a Star of David??? You do know that it was originally posted on an Anti Semitic Neo Nazi site, don't you? Considering that, how could it be anything else?

Who cares? Trump didn't create the image and I doubt the staffer that retweeted it researched who made it, if it was an actual Star of David then it probably doesn't get retweeted.

This whole 'code' thing is nonsense and way to shut down opposition on issues, this is how political correctness is abused. You can't support a strong border or want illegal immigrants out of the country without being called a racist, you can't address terrorism without being called a racist, you can't address crime without being called a racist, you can't even criticize the president without being called a racist. Stuff like this is exactly why Trump is popular, these people have told to shut up and take their medicine be these coastal elites while the middle of this country has been left to rot and be under constant barrage of attack/shaming of their culture, these elitists think they are the center of the universe and cannot see beyond their own self interest. Of course they're okay with mass illegal immigration since they reap all the benefits and have insulated themselves from the damage it has done.

People should heed the Brexit vote because it wasn't the elitist Tories that it passed but rather because the working class that were abandoned in what was supposedly the Labor heartlands finally had enough of them being on the losing side of globalism. Globalism only benefits the 1%, it will destroy western civilization which is exactly what they want so they can run the entire planet undemocratically. We're under the illusion that we are free when we are ruled, I think we're ready for another French revolution to be honest. It does not benefit the working class, they are going to average our QoL out with the rest of planet which means down down down for us.

Well, you shouldn't be critical of the President if that criticism entails obvious racist and bigoted slander, such as claiming that he wasn't really born an American, or that he's a secret Muslim (there is no law against Muslims running for office), or that his church isn't a real Christian church. Criticizing crime or any other social ill is not wrong, save when "those people" are labeled as the sole cause. If people in the middle of the country don't like being labeled hayseeds and crackers by those of us living on the coasts (elites or not), then I dare say they shouldn't act like they are.
Would anyone really be upset with illegal immigration was coming from Canada, rather than brown people who speak a language other than English? While not everyone who opposes illegal immigration are racists, I don't know of a single white supremacist who isn't frothing at the mouth against immigration, legal or otherwise.
And sure, much of the British working class was for Brexit. But populist movements are often energized by bigotry, and in news interviews with the average Briton on the street, a whole lot of the reason why they voted to leave the EU had much to do with anti-immigration.

Getting celebrities to retweet offensive stuff is something of a trolling art btw, they do it all the time with purposely wrongly attributed quotes that are actually from someone like Adolf Hitler and all types of things. Trump doesn't even run his own twitter fwiw, he writes out his tweets and then a staffer does it. Manufactured controversy is all this is.

Immigration is a huge issue in the UK, it's a crowded island that has abandoned it's working class so how couldn't they be frustrated seeing their dwindling opportunities being undercut by new immigrants? There is a huge shortage of housing in the UK, it's basically impossible for anybody to buy a house and home ownership is the key to upward mobility. "The free movement of workers" kills the working class, an unlimited supply of labor produces a constant downward pressure wages, opportunity, and worker's rights. Working class people LOSE with globalism, only the very very rich benefit. It's not racist to be against immigration. Also the difference between Canada and Mexico is that Mexico is a third world country with a vast underclass with the huge concentration wealth at the very top while Canada is a 1st world one with equal or maybe higher standard of living, not everything is about race. Also many immigrants specifically from Mexico are nationalistic and consider the entire southwestern United States stolen territory, creating enclaves and segregating your culture doesn't help this country one bit. I believe that's called a fifth column. You like Teddy Roosevelt right? Well Teddy had it right with this quote



The US takes in more immigrants than the rest of the world combined and that's not even considering illegal immigrants who number somewhere between 10 and 30 million in this country. It is basically impossible to immigrate to most countries on this planet, we're one of the few but there is reasons why these countries don't accept immigrants beyond just bigotry. Multiculturalism and political correctness are destroying Western Civilization, I support the concept of the melting pot and national unity which is the very opposite of the policies we promote now.

You say this but you don't think Hillary should be held accountable for jeopardizing national security and skirting open government laws with her private email server, just an honest mistake. I just can't see nativism as something defendable. Your and my ancestors at one time or another had been described as alien invaders, setting up ethnic enclaves, and not speaking English. Yet, you and I are true blue Americans today, regardless of who our forebears were. Today's immigrants - legal and illegal - will sire the future's true blue Americans.
And while I greatly admire T.R. as a forward seeing statesman and social reformer, he proved to be inconsistent with America's entry into WWI, when he stated that "German Americans" should take a loyalty oath. In other words, he ended up hyphenating those Americans who were either from Germany, or whose families were. My family, like other Americans of German extraction, took a whole lot of sh*t for their national origin in those days, and Roosevelt's taking part in that is a black mark against him, in my book.

I think it was a boneheaded stunt on her part, but the FBI cleared her, and the federal prosecutor, after verbally savaging her, said no prosecution would proceed. Take it up with the feds.

Would we be true Americans today without those guiding ideas? German Americans are good example since Wisconsin was essentially an almost entirely German state at one time, my grandfather didn't even speak English until he was 5 years old and that was because they made a law that schools in Wisconsin had to teach in English rather than German even tho there were many German only speaking communities. Imagine the implications of allowing this foreign nationalism to have to progressed to this day, it would be a different country. Imagine the implication on WWII if the German identity promoted and endorsed up to that. Above all else I think national harmony should be the top consideration when it comes to immigration, not the bottom line for the 1%.

You have no disagreement from me on that point. What I'm getting at is that those foreigners will in time become Americans. Incidentally, from my family's arrival to America in the 19th century, to my dad's generation, everyone were bilingual, speaking English and German..
