Trump's a big guy but fat ****? I reserve that for someone like Chris Christie.

It is true that he is listed at the same height and weight as Bill Clinton when he took office however. Now people might not just remember that image of Bill

but he worked hard to drop those pounds

8O I'm glad those shorts are now illegal in this country 8O

now how poor of taste would it be to bring up Hillary's weight? :P

Trump most certainly is overweight, but he probably doesn't qualify for "obese." Still, when you're that heavy, calling a woman a "fat pig" is pretty ironic.

By the stats Trump reported for years, he is obese. 6'2" at 236 pounds is a BMI of 30.3, in the obese range.
Now that he has magically added an inch to his height, his BMI drops to 29.5, at the high end of the overweight range, a few pounds shy of obese.

I guess height is like net worth in his estimation: it's not a matter of quantifiable fact but more "how tall do I feel?"

Well, unlike his opaque financials, Trump's height ought to be fairly easy to establish by simple observation...

Unless the concept of "height" was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive, of course...

Well I'm sure we all know how silly BMI is as far as being an accurate gauge, 236lbs if it's accurate doesn't seem that fat for a 6'2" man and I think Bill Clinton was the about the same height/weight when he was president albeit younger but with much unhealthier habits. I don't remember anybody calling Bill obese during those years altho I do remember his love of McDonald's cheeseburgers lol.

so trump's about 140% my weight, at the same size, while I look normal-weight. certainly not overly slim. I can only follow that he's either fat, or an athlete. and he doesn't look like a football player.

it'd be better to compare trump with eric cartman, for these purposes. no, trump is not as fat as cartman, but he is similarly in no position to judge, and acting like him.

jesus. I hate these discussions, where I suddenly realize I'm helping to define a body type that's allowed to judge over others, while all I really wanted to do is call trump a douche....

The irony is the lot of you who get offended by 'fat shaming' are doing to the same thing, is that a bit hypocritical?

Trump could lose a little weight but he's not a candidate for lap band, probably just needs a better diet but if his doctors say he is healthy then more power to him.

good picture to compare height/build of candidates from one another from one of the debates during the primary. Jeb is almost 6'4" so whereas Ted Cruz is actually 5'8" and I'm guessing in some sort of platform shoe.

Christie is Yoda! Trump is a fat f**k! Clinton was a fat f**k, but not quite as much of a fat f**k as Trump.

Hey Yoda was in pretty decent shape for elderly little green guy, dude lifted that x-wing out of that swamp! Now Jabba the Hutt seems much more appropriate. :P

Um...no...

Trump was the one doing the "fat shaming". Not anyone here on this thread. Folks on this thread are simply pointing out "the irony" of a paunchy guy doing "fat shaming".

So is 'fat shaming' wrong or not? If it's wrong then we are doing it to Trump? If it isn't then why are we even having this conversation? :D

that's what bugs me. he's lowering the bar so radically to elementary school level discourse, those who don't want to engage in this eventually forget to look for the high road. and no, taking the high road is not something innate to some people, and unknown to others. it takes constant effort, and eventually trump and his supporters try -and sometimes successfully manage- to make all attempts at it appear ridiculous.
I would like a president who's not making fun of people trying to aim higher. I want one who's trying himself.

Ask Trump that question. Not us. He is the one indulging in fat shaming. He is our role model and leader, and we just take our cues from him!

The comment she made about Bernie supporters was not cool. But that was audio. Here we have a claim made by someone who may have an axe to grind with the Clinton's.

It doesn't matter to me either way, of course. I'm voting for Jill Stein.

Right.

She said "Bernie supporters are victims of the recession of '08".

What she should have said was "Bernie supporters are all rapists, and murderers! And we need to build a wall to stop them, and to have Bernie pay for it!"

Hillary just dosnt know how to be emphatic enough! :D
