Well, 20 members of the House Judiciary Committee have just requested the appointment of a Special Counsel to investigate Loretta Lynch, James Comey, and Hillary Clinton, so that's something.

It's the 28th now.

Did I blink, and miss it?

Yes, I think that's the major news. But what happened was first the House Judiciary Committee voted to expand the investigation of Comey, since they were looking at all these situations that happened at the end of the Obama Administration, and also kept seeming to have to do with other things in the Obama Administration that the president talks about-the spying on Americans stuff, who exactly is colluding with Russia and why, etc, etc. So last night they essentially TURNED the Trump/Russia investigation INTO a Obama/Clinton/(Bush too but they didn't say that)/Other Entities investigation.


I was trying to find the video I saw last night where it has the Dem lady rep talking before Gaetz, so you could see both sides of what they were saying, but I couldn't find it again.

The other big thing that happened is that Fox News started reporting on the Awan Bros/Muslim Brotherhood spy/crime ring that was the IT staff for a ton of US congressmembers and had access to a whole lot of national security information. This is NOT a new story- what is new is that a major news outlet reported on it. The Awan ring is suspected of having DNC staffer Seth Rich killed for leaking information to Wikileaks last year. The Podesta emails confirmed that they knew they had an internal leaker and John Podesta said he was okay with "making an example" out of a leaker.

I can understand why some people don't want to find out about things like this. It's upsetting to find out unpleasant information. A few of you may remember that I'm related to a famous person who has been in the news in the past few months. That's been embarrassing and disappointing. I have other family members who work in government positions who have told me things that the government could do that have only become public knowledge in the Vault 7 leaks. It's too bad. It really IS easier to not know. If you're one of these people and read all this anyway, I would just say to go about your business and not worry about it. Things will take care of themselves.

She's basically saying that they can't do a new investigation into an old administration out of a completely different matter. So then Rep Matt Gaetz (R) goes into his response which I think makes more sense in context.
