MLK was a socialist and a womanizer. Oprah Winfrey is one of the richest women in the world. The Hip Hop industry is huge and dominates the music world. Young white children are being exposed to it. Don't tell me that they don't have an platform, because they do. And historically, we must know the truth. Africans sold their own into slavery. They oppressed themselves.
King was a socialist and womanizer who fought to give millions of African Americans inclusion into all the liberties and rights promised to all Americans in the constitution. I think that latter fact is far more important than the former.
Yes, Winfrey and Hip Hop artists are millionaires, and that their reach is multiracial. But most blacks aren't them, and still face discrimination.
Yes, Africans sold members of enemy tribes into slavery to Arabs and whites, but so did our Germanic and Celtic ancestors in ancient times, finding that the Romans had an insatiable appetite for slaves. So?
But seriously, blacks oppressed themselves? I suppose then blacks kept themselves in deplorable conditions as slaves in America, established jim crow and segregation to keep themselves an underclass, and even went as far as to lynch themselves!

Absolutely! A very good movie on that subject of interracial love and marriage is Loving, which I highly recommend.
