You actually believe that? Wow.
You actually believe that? Wow.
Yes, I do believe that, as it's an historic fact. We have a national holiday this upcoming Monday to commemorate a man who had fought against just that sort of identity labeling by the right that had kept blacks out of mainstream society.
But if I'm so wrong, please inform me how I am.
MLK was a socialist and a womanizer. Oprah Winfrey is one of the richest women in the world. The Hip Hop industry is huge and dominates the music world. Young white children are being exposed to it. Don't tell me that they don't have an platform, because they do. And historically, we must know the truth. Africans sold their own into slavery. They oppressed themselves.
King was a socialist and womanizer who fought to give millions of African Americans inclusion into all the liberties and rights promised to all Americans in the constitution. I think that latter fact is far more important than the former.
Yes, Winfrey and Hip Hop artists are millionaires, and that their reach is multiracial. But most blacks aren't them, and still face discrimination.
Yes, Africans sold members of enemy tribes into slavery to Arabs and whites, but so did our Germanic and Celtic ancestors in ancient times, finding that the Romans had an insatiable appetite for slaves. So?
But seriously, blacks oppressed themselves? I suppose then blacks kept themselves in deplorable conditions as slaves in America, established jim crow and segregation to keep themselves an underclass, and even went as far as to lynch themselves!

Great talk here about how the left's obsession with identity politics has hurt them. Instead of fighting the system, they want to be part of that system as a woman/lesbian/gay/trans/Muslim/Jew/black etc.

This guy has nailed the problems with modern liberalism. Modern liberals care about every progressive issue except plutocracy. That's the Obama presidency in a nutshell. That's the Clintons in a nutshell.
We won't get fooled again. Will we?
Cheers, glad you liked it.
If the Dems do the same thing again in 2020 and have a candidate that pushes identity politics, Trump could win again. Trump just talked about America rather than hundreds of different different categories.

Yeah, the liberal media has done the same and the liberals rejected him when he started focusing on opposition to the Vietnam war as it says in the video. You.might learn something if you watch it.

Wait a minute, you're saying those college kids and hippies protesting the Vietnam war weren't liberals?!?!?!
Sure, the old, establishment liberals like LBJ, who had become invested in the war, lost their love for King, but most run-of-the-mill liberals never did stop loving him.

Absolutely! A very good movie on that subject of interracial love and marriage is Loving, which I highly recommend.

In any political movement, there is a big difference between what the poorest members believe and what the wealthiest members believe. You have to pay attention to that.
Poor Liberals: anti-racist, anti-corruption, anti-war
Rich Liberals: "Racism is wrong, but corruption is no big deal and war is okay when I do it."
Poor Feminists: feminist social democracy
Rich Feminists: "I'm a female CEO who manipulates the government in order to start wars and you can be one too!"
Poor Socialists: social democracy
Rich Socialists: Leninism
Poor Conservatives: "I love my country, my God, my gun and my family. I'm also a hard worker and I'm proud of my ancestry!"
Rich Conservatives: "Dead are all gods: now we want the overman to live."
... and so on.

That isn't just an issue of feelings. I actually agree with conservatives when they say that modern liberalism is too touchy-feely ... but white privilege is literally a matter of life and death.

I should always put "liberal" like that, as most "liberals" are the opposite of liberal. The establishment has painted over King's role in opposing the war. Screw LBJ.

Always nice when Zionist Hollywood promotes interracial relationships like that. Maybe they should focus on their beloved state where they have laws to stop Jews marrying non Jews.

It's not a privilege not to be shot. And if that were the case, then lots of other ethnic groups are privileged. Rich black people do ok though.

Hold on John. I have to stop you there.
I just did a quick Google search. Loving was written by Jeff Nichols. Do you have any proof that he is Jewish? Do you have any proof that he supports Jewish nationalism?
I will agree that some Jews hypocritically support Israeli racism while opposing white supremacy in the West. Here's the thing: Many anti-racist Jews also oppose Israeli racism. Addionally, many of the Jews who support Israeli racism are also supporters of white supremacy. Jewish Republicans are often like this. Keep in mind that Jared Taylor has many Jewish fans, since he, unlike most white supremacists, doesn't deny the Holocaust.
Additionally, not all Hollywood executives are Jewish or Zionist.
Stop trying to simplify this extremely complex issue.

It's not about who writes a story. Someone could write a story about any of Israel's terrorist attacks including against the US, but there'd be no way in hell a production company would take it on. Or a film about interracial relationship between a Palestinian and a Jew. Maybe about a Palestinian hero who gets payed to kill Israelis, like a version of Django where he says "I get to kill white people and get payed for it, what's not to like?". That film was by the Weinstein brothers. All the big production companies are run by Zionist Jews and they pour out Zionist propaganda.
