The media train people to say it. Gabbard is a veteran and could beat Trump. The media will just scream Russia and appeasement at anything or anyone who doesn't share the message of their war industry pay masters.

I highly recommend reading 'War Is A Racket' by Major General Smedley Butler. It really exposes the sickening truth of what war is really all about. He basically stated that during his entire military career, he had been nothing more than a racketeer for corporate interests.

I will research him. I don't read books, I'm not against it of course but it's not fast paced enough for my ADD riddled mind. I do best on short papers and articles. I will definitely check him out though.

We need a military industrial complex, no one believes that more than the Republican party. They pretend to be anti-war and anti-debt only when it suits them.

Both parties do you mean. They both preach against war to get elected then do the opposite once in. Bush Jr and Obama did it. The only time the media loved Trump is when he bombed Syria. CNN called him "Presidential".
