Ruveyn, maybe i might hit a nerve or two here but is the fact that you're a pro-american because you've been through so many wars? <.< (i read that you're 72 years old?..)

As far as American Presidents go, so far he's a pretty good one, but it's still far to early to tell. He's not the best, but he's definitely no Andrew Jackson or Richard Nixon or George Bush. I voted for him, but that doesn't mean I like him -- he's a politician and therefore evil :P (mild sarcasm). Talk to me again in two or three years when he has proven himself.

My ambition as a child was to be a bombardier like my uncle, but the war ended too soon. I think I was the only one who cried on V-E day. Chronic asthma disqualified me for combat so I got into weapons making and designing weapons (tactical and theater). So when I grew up I helped design the algorithms for storing and retrieving radar data for cruise missiles. This is how cruise missiles were guided before GPS and is still the backup system. My "babies" helped to kill a lot of enemies and I have (indirectly) several scalps on my belt and I am proud of each and every one of them. Before I got into missile guidance I worked on H-bombs and tactical nukes. We never got to use any of them (shucks!). I figured if I could not be be a warrior who shed enemy blood, I would be a weapon-smith who gives the warriors the means to shed enemy blood. Not quite as satisfying, but just as effective.

In my next life I want to be either Conan the Barbarian or Mr. Spock.

I kind of liked the brutal, eye-gouging, democratic primary. That was fun (but I'm glad it's over).

I voted for Obama but don't think he's a super-hero and may fail hugely, but
the right-wing over-the-top art he's inspired is pretty amusing. I so want to buy one of these hats...

(But I'm not drinking any Leninade. The DeRegulade has already destroyed my liver & kidneys (although the label says that propylene glycol & melamine makes me more free), and I don't trust bottled solutions anymore.)

Yeah, don't drink the Leninade. LOL :lmao: I like that, thanks for sharing.

We used them in the cold war. We just didn't set them off.

I'm sorry about that, there's something wrong with the quoting system. :)

I discovered something interesting while playing with Google trends.

Yes, you read right: for one brief shining moment, Obama was BIGGER THAN SEX.

On another note, why is there a peak in searches for sex every year right near Christmas

Your Darkie promised no more ear-mark money bills. Ho. Ho. Ho. What do you think of him now. He lies just like a Caucasian.

Setting aside your unnecessary racist comments which I will only forgive because people born during the Civil War era have a hard time adapting to the new ways of the 21st century, Obama never said he was against earmarks, he said he was against wasteful spending and wanted to reduce it. Earmarks are not all wasteful spending.
