In theory.
In practice, a lot of reports of lack of fuel and other logistic problems surface.

One of the things about Russia - corruption there is not just a problem. It's part of the system where people with enormous fortunes and benefits are also completely dependent of their superiors who can always make a show process for your corruption if you get out of their favor.
It accumulates enormous power in hands of the few - but it makes things far worse-organized than they could have been in a more transparent system.

Yeah, plenty of other problems.. like morale, not even being told what the mission/war is, troops realizing they've been lied to 8 ways from Sunday and they don't support this invasion At All and thus have no problem turning around, ditching tanks, surrendering etc. Can't really wage a war and expect to win if your own soldiers aren't even in it with their hearts/minds & bodies on the line.

I feel sorry for those poor soldiers, they are just cannon fodder for Putin.I’m sure they would prefer to be home with their families instead of terrorizing innocent people.

I believe everyone with sane mind would prefer them to be there.

We can only hope and pray they head home soon.
The sad thing is Putin will probably send more, he’s not the type to back down and the resistance in Ukraine is making him look foolish and weak in the whole world’s eyes.He thought he would just swoop in and take over easily. He really underestimated the strength and willpower of the Ukrainian people.
He won’t like that.He will want to win at any cost, even if he pulls the whole world down with him. When he gets desperate, he will be even more dangerous.

Some good news about russia's shortcomings:

https://nationalpost.com/news/world/top ... d-for-days

Seems their corruption has left their military vehicles ill equipped for service. Poor maintenance, crappy chinese knock-off tires etc = their trucks are stuck in the mud. Hopefully they're parked there long enough for Ukrainian/NATO forces to get their act together well enough to take 'em all out before they can get to Kyiv. 8)

You guys seem to be repeating propaganda . Provided by news services … Although Russia is having problems bestowed upon its people from within . It has put the Russian troops in desperate and violent situations ,
Where the remaining Ukrainians are suffering for it , reports of Russian troops committing murder and taking all food from any civilians . It seems to be a War crimes situation brought upon by this situation. Those troops could easily turn around and go back to Russia for food and supplies . And these are reports from within Russia , where people are attempting to flee their own country . Just my opinion, based on info from people connected in Russia still .

Occupying troops usually steal from the locals if they don’t have food or enough supplies.
During the Civil War here both sides did that to people in the South.
It’s something that unfortunately happens in every war.

Since Michael has posted his thoughts publicly, I'm going to share them here.
He's someone I have subscribed to for a decade.

Quote:
Not just another calm and relaxing piano session. As you might know, usually I say my music is to focus or to study better, a soundtrack for mind work, for designing the world of today and tomorrow, for reflecting, coding, getting things done, in the evening when winding down for a healthy sleep, or just to relax and enjoy. This time it’s true, too, but there is more.

Title: Who We Want to Be | Type: original fantasia piano music session

Last week has been a difficult one for me. To watch a bird eat another one alive brutally is hard to digest. Seems to be part of nature's code though. To watch a human society do this to another is terrifying. What happens in Eastern Europe right now tests us a lot, teaches a lot, hurts a lot.

Sitting here in the colors of the oceans and the sun, or the blue sky and yellow wheat fields if you will, I dedicate the music to the People of Ukraine, including anyone touched by the brutality taking place in their land currently, as well as to all humans anywhere on the Planet who must endure violence or suffering of any sort and degree, be it physical, mental, or otherwise. Also I extend the dedication to all species and habitats.

As a collective global human race we have a long way to go still, before we reach our true potential. We’re getting there though. Closer every day and with each and every lesson. One step back, two forward. I‘m with you.

We all want to be alive and feel alive, be part of the whole, see and be seen, develop our full capacity and ourselves, be strong, experience the beauty the world has to offer, feel joy, love, and happiness, feel safe, secure and protected. Let us get there in dignity.

Playing what my soul feels, I ask myself and you: What kind of beings do we want to be?

Who do we want to be? Be strong, healthy, maybe listen to your heart, enjoy today. Michael (relaxdaily*)

Poor maintenance and under-rated tires. They'd be just as f****d if they were using real Michelins if they let them rot in the sun like they did with the knock-offs.

NATO forces shouldn't involve themselves unless you'd like a full scale war though.

My view, very simply, is that this war does not benefit anybody----and hurts everybody extremely. It's an absolutely useless exercise in futility on the part of the aggressors.

Even the Russians aren't going to fare well after all this.

Disagree.

This is a *major* wake-up call for the west.
*NATO has significantly increased defence spending. (That turtle moron).
*The west is starting to decouple its dependence on Russian fossil fuels. (That turtle moron).
*The west has unified on sanctions that are having a significant impact on pootin's economy.
*What is happening to Russia will give xi pause for thought in terms of Taiwan.
*The concern about WWIII now has a greater priority over climate change alarmism.

Did anyone happen to hear what Biden said , during his address about the US still getting gas fuel from Russia , then he said , “if Russia does not

WHAT THE FRICKEN BLOODY ‘ELL ? WE THE USA ARE STILL BUYING RUSSIAN OIL/ fuel . Who is in charge of our
USA government ….. is this suppose to be a game ????? Why are we doing any business with Russia . If we were
Serious about sanctions , why are we behaving this way as a country ????

Über progressives are still in control of decision making.
Outlawing fracking has made Ammmmuuuria dependant on Russian oils so pootin can fill is war chest.
It used to be a net exporter of energy.
The cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline hasn't improved the climate.
It is simply making Russia's war economy richer.

The Biden administration is worried about the backlash caused by increasing fuel costs if they stop the inflow of Russian fossil fuel, so politics pokes its ugly head into the equation, as per usual.

"You" voted them in.
Trump helped them get in.
Enjoy.

Consider many Ukrainians are of Russian descent , after Russia takes over , there will be no insurgency,
Everyone expressing dissent will be sent away or executed because they were turned in by there Russian neighbours .. it is a sad situation . The outcome is already known , and people are still dying . And will continue to .
In the name of their. Ex- country .

The tenacity of the Ukrainians suggests differently. 8)
