I've waded through 13 pages of stuff here, and mostly it's all back-stabbing and hyperbole; and most of this is coming from the 'holy trinity' quoting the laws of their church. Come on, as has been posted on many other forums, we have had no real proof of the existence of a 'real' god who created everything, and the book that says so is so full of stories that have been passed down through generations, as well as umpteen translations that have completely skewed the original meaning, it's hard to tell the fantasy from fact (if there is any).

Here's a couple of prime examples: God creates Adam & Eve, then tells them to NOT eat from the tree of knowledge, which he has created too. Then the serpent tempts Eve, and she thus eats the fruit (nowhere does it say apple), and both Adam and Eve are punished. God also created the serpent, so he also created evil. The inconsistency is that god is all-knowing and cannot do evil. Well, he sure f****d up royally on both counts.

Same with the bet between God and Satan over Job. Satan supposedly says to God that if he visited a lot of bad stuff on someone, they would say 'bugger off, I don't like you'. God said, wanna bet? and thus visited every form of s**t he could think of onto Job. Job questioned it, but still didn't lose faith. God won the bet. Doesn't sound like the act of a god of love, sounds more like a school-yard bully.

Oh, and don't forget that Christianity is one of several religions that have had the same teachings and same sort of anointed ones, and this over a 10,000 year period. All of these anointed ones went through the same parallels as Christ, and each was crucified. Buddha, Crishna... there are at least 16 others apart from Jesus. Also, Christianity has borrowed from several different faiths, pagan, Egyptian, Greek, Mesopotamian.... the list goes on. The authors of the scriptures just rewrote them to suit their own beliefs.

Anyway, enough for now. BTW, you three, just remember: putting yourselves in the 'god-like' position you have is tantamount to blasphemy if you are meant to be Christians....
