Who's going to stop China from polluting?

US will and can actually bring its pollution down to levels of other developed nations. But China doesn't seem to give a crap (they say they do to look good, but they don't do anything).

Yes they will. There has been no noticeable rise in sea levels whatsoever. Human habitation is a way more dynamic phenomenon than microscopic sea-level fluctuations.

I'm beginning to think that, rather than being a troll, huamanaut is some sort of false-flag advocate trying to use a variant of the socratic method to encourage refutation of all of the simplest arguments against climate change science.

Sea levels have never been static. Fluctuations are perfectly normal, and there is nothing unusual about the current situation. Everything is normal.

The variables have been accounted for and sea level is rising.
LKL= a rational scientific mind.

There is nothing unusual about sea levels rising and falling, and the current rate of change is not out of the ordinary. The oceans will eventually rise, and fall, and rise again. Some think the sea levels are already falling due to the record amount of ice accumulation in the Antarctic. They are most likely right.

But that graph isn't really relevant. The scale is over 500 million years, and when we talk of human made climate change we need to measure the last 150 years. There have been great fluctuations over the course of ancient history, but what is important now is the speed at which things are changing, now whether the sea levels were 200m higher in the distant past. There was also more oxygen in the air during the time of the dinosaurs, yet you hear no one complain about living in a low oygen era.

Perhaps that is more evidence that the world is warming. However, I don't think so. However, there is other evidence and it is vast and unequivocal that the world is warming.

That is exactly correct.

From what I understand, the current sea levels are not the highest of our current interglacial warm period, the Holocene. Neither are today's temperatures.

One criticism I've seen on the subject of sea levels is that the IPCC doesn't even have one expert on sea levels yet they felt it okay to ignore what the real experts said and talk about rapidly rising sea levels. That is the mark of politics, not science. Perhaps they have added a real expert since then, perhaps not.
