I was interested last night, about that fire near the nuclear plant. Went to bed worried I'd wake up to find out we had Chernobyl 10x, luckily that didn't happen.

A Ukrainian indicated he thought pootin was trying to blackmail Ukraine (and presumably, all of Europe).

An explosion there at that nuclear plant would have affected russia to wouldn't it have?...putin is obviously a psychopath, maybe even a crazy one and that is no good.

So if you watch the camera feed from the NPP, you can see the Russians rolling in shooting, parking inside the perimeter, and Ukranians continuing to shoot from the outside in at the Russians inside, striking the buildings around. You can watch the video yourself and draw your own conclusions.

Basically both sides were shooting around the plant like nobody cares.

Good point.
My best guess is it was simply a bluff.

I'm still convinced pootin isn't insane.
(He may want people to think he is).
But he is definitely a psychopath, imo.

Yeah he may not be insane at all, but I see a lot of articles titled stuff like 'insane' crazy' putin..maybe he is not insane and just a psycopath who knows what he is doing.

There is no reason a psychopath has to be insane.
Being a "psychopath" simply means a person with a dx of "anti-social personality disorder" has turned to the dark side.
There is no official dx of "psychopath" to my knowledge. 8)

Lieutenant Yarantsev said the troops were more comfortable being able to garrison in buildings than in fields or forests. “I’ve noticed something about war,” he said. “Soldiers want to be somewhere where cellphones work and where there is internet.”

I hope we (NATO/EU/anyone else) ship them all the resources they need to continue their defence effectively/indefinitely.

I get that no nuclear power has ever fired on another nuclear power ever and why it’s to be avoided. But that doesn’t mean the USA can’t simply ship more and more javelins, sniper rifles, fuel, medical supplies etc etc and fight the war without breaking the unwritten rule of nuclear powers not escalating conflict with one another.

Something like that.

Same same for Canada - sure, we have domestic problems to solve.. but we waste a lot of money/resources on things that don’t matter as much as preserving democracy & preventing Putin from rising to super power status on Europe’s door step. We can and should be sending everything possible. IMO.
