As far as I know, the order went like this (I will confirm with that list)

William Hartnell (1963-1966)

Patrick Troughton (1966-1969)

Jon Pertwee (1970-1974)

Tom Baker (1974-1981)

Peter Davidson (1982-1984)

Colin Baker (1984-1986)

Sylvester McCoy (1987-1989)

Richard Hurndall (1983) played William Hartnell's role in the 5 Doctors.

Didn't follow anything after that, and I don't watch the most recent ones.

Tom Baker was my favourite, followed by Jon Pertwee, Patrick Troughton and Colin Baker.

Bill Pertwee, Jon's relative, played the warden in Dad's Army. Tom Baker did the voice-overs for Little Britain, and Peter Davidson played the vet in 'All Creatures Great & Small'.

I thought 'Trial of a Time Lord' was his best.

You may. Until David Tennant came along, it was a toss-up for me between Tom Baker, Patrick Troughton and Sylvester McCoy.

Actually, Vengeance on Varos and Mark of the Rani were good ones from his first season.

I don't know what the other palabras are, would you let me know?

The third phrase means: you can tell when a society is most corrupt when the laws are most numerous.

Gee, I would have said that corruption of the society has
many paths. :P

I know. As soon as you put it down, it made sense.

Of course, the first one is "Asses should be sauteed ass first"

and the second is "bent science makes s**t live"

I'm not sure what the other phrases are, something about asinine, knowledge, life... WHAT'S IT ALL MEAN? I figure it's a politic statement against the government, but is Australia really that bad?

I wish I'd learnt Latin at school. The only phrases I know are:

Carpe Diem = Seize the day

Carpe Jugulum = Seize the throat

Veni vidi vici = I came, I saw, I conquered.

There is a book on swearing in Latin that you can get, I should read it if I can find it.

Not really, but Australia, the UK and the US are getting that way.

Angus and Robertson. Should be on special. Humour section. $7.95 if I recall.
