a) recklessness is recklessness, regardless of where you happen to be.
b) you can get a semi-auto AK. Nobody is going to be able to tell the difference. Unless you're suggesting firing rounds as a "warning shot" - which, again, shows your ignorance.
c) I have no desire whatsoever to continue this conversation - you should take a look at the fact that many of the pro-gun members on this thread had the same reaction that I did, and take that to mean something.

a) That's true.

b) That's also true. If I were to fire rounds as a "warning shot", I would fire them at the ground(specifically a patch of dirt).

c) Fine with me, sliqua. You and other people here are perfectly entitled to your opinions and your reactions. But keep in mind that quite frankly, your disapproval isn't going to deter me from getting an AK full auto if I ultimately choose to do so. Have a nice day.

Such a weapon would be just as dangerous to the one who deployed as it would be to the target. Too much power is as useless as too little. What one wants is a weapon that is capable of destroying an identified target and no more than that target.

Yes, but mega-weapons are excellent for deterrence. I live in a trailer park just outside the city limits in rural Mississippi--in the Delta of all places. There's nothing like a nuke in your backyard for "enhancing" property value and strengthening diplomacy with your neighbors. Even better if you live in a nice development and you disagree with your city officials on how much property tax you should pay. Suddenly everyone on your block and the surrounding ones is your new best friend. And you never even have to detonate the thing!

Of course, yes, setting off a nuke while you're still at ground zero very likely will negatively impact your life span and potentially ruin your day if someone decides to call your bluff. But depending on what goals you intend to achieve by detonating it, this might not really be a problem for you.

If I was to beable to control such a weapon I would beable to call myself god!! If such a weapon were to be developed the weapon would be named Chuck Norris!

1) Warning shots are illegal in a lot of (most?) states.
2) Do even know how to make an AK full auto?

Even if it's not illegal (and I know of no state where it isn't a felony), it's very definitely reckless endangerment. Enjoy your multi-million dollar payout, genius.
