Pretty sure I saw Brit cops with guns on the news.
You won't outgun a terrorist,you need to out think them.

22 people die and Angela starts calling for a police state because the UK has been "taken over" :lol: :lol: :lol:

Open borders save lives. In the grand scheme of things, terrorism is insignificant. If you're happy to let people die so you can say you "stood up to terrorism" then your priorities are completely wrong.

And yes we have armed police here, they're specialists who are only deployed when they are needed rather than giving a gun to everyone with a badge.

Moreover, it's probably not correct.

Walrus might be many things----but he's certainly not an "appeaser to totalitarism."

There does not seem to be a "religiosity" to his views.

I am actually proud of our country because we didn't resort to martial law after 9/11. We had the confidence in ourselves to assure our citizens live a decent life unfettered by constant searches, and constant suspicion, as found in totalitarian regimes.

Like I said - they had to call in special forces. You need special forces on the scene at the time of the event - not a day later.

If Trump put troops on the streets there would massive freakouts over martial law. When a "civilized" European country does it nobody mentions the words "martial law".
