Media Urged Not To Release Names Of Any More Presidential Candidates In Effort To Prevent Copycats

WASHINGTON—Warning that the promise of publicity and notoriety is often exactly what motivates a run for the White House in the first place, media ethics groups called on news outlets Thursday to stop releasing the names of presidential candidates, part of an effort to stem the tide of copycats.

“When a person launches a bid for president and then receives widespread media coverage, it only inspires other unstable individuals out there to do the exact same thing,” said media ethicist Payton Howard.... “It is irresponsible to make celebrities out of these people. They are clearly very sick.”

He would eat all of them with his mouth open and leave crumbs everywhere.Most likely grabble around in the tin for the biggest one.It would be a sight no one wants to see.

I guess my cards were right, a big change to the world is indeed coming.

People have been prophesizing, Armageddon-type "big changes" since people became people.

It wont be "armageddon", just a big change.

If anything close to an armageddon was coming I might have gotten the Ace of Spades, not the Ace of Clubs.

This change may or may not be bad change, but Trump and Melania will have a role to play in it as the King and Queen of Clubs who are driven by Trump's ambitions.

And the world DOES in fact seem to change at the beginning of each century. Think about it.

Yeah...it changes....and usually in a positive direction in most ways.

The changes from 1990-2000--except for the Internet---were not as dramatic, from an objective standpoint, as the changes from 1890-1900.

The changes from 1900-1910 were even more dramatic than what occurred during the previous decade.

The changes from 2000-2010----really not dramatic at all.

(all of this is purely from an urban, United States context).
