Thats as may be, wouldnt know, never been. People have the whole internet to play in, and given enough time and enough boredom, I could probably dig up all sorts of s**t that would swing the fight either way on any of the participants. Hence why I'm sticking to what I see said here, in situ, given the nature of what the threads supposed to be about. Someone has an opinion, theyve voiced it.. others have voiced theirs, and the whole thing turns into a slanging match which gets dragged around half a bloody server, when it doesnt have to be. In this particular case the pro-gun lobby dragged shite in here that didnt need to be in here, and decided to randomly make up crap for wind-up purposes.

Given that I've seen and been caught up in this "drag User X's name through the mud" balls on here before, and noted well that the mods arent fond of it (either doing it, or defending yourself from it), I'd like to know what the actual stance on it is. As I said.. its either frowned upon, or legit.

(Besides, I got a paratiel award for doing just this, so it would be remiss of me to let it slide by unremarked.)

All that I'm saying is that people who support
military adventurism, damned well ought to
have served, or plan to. Indeed, a country
where the populace is unwilling to serve
is no longer really one made up of citizens
any longer.

This is especially egregious, in the case of the
US, where the most hawkish faction seems
to be made up of former draft dodgers -
even worse, those who played the system
to get deferments. These kind of people
have no right being elected. Just shows
what idiots Americans are.
