Did you miss the bit of my post where I mentioned using the broader definitions so as to avoid confusion?

Within this context, where we are discussing belief vs. non-belief, it should be obvious that we are utilizing terms that mean those things.

Actually the belief in the gods of Judaism, Christianity and Islam is Monotheism and the pagan gods would be related to Polytheism, even though some may attempt to exclude polytheism, polytheism and monotheism are both forms of Theism, heck! Deism is a form of theism as well, in a broader general sense.
