3. UN mistreatment of Muslim refugees. Many Muslims who were forced from their land by the initial war (and later conflicts) were herded into relocation camps, but never allowed to move out. There are places throughout the Muslim world these people could move to (and many want to), but the UN will not allow it. Anti-Israel groups use this fabricated hardship to say Israel is bad, but Israel is not forcing these people to stay in these camps. They are victims of political grandstanders.

Wait this is going on now? If so this is enough to justify war as far as I'm concerned they need to compromise whatever security is preventing their movement.

Europeans weren't Israelis. They were Europeans.

My point is that Europe gave them that land out of shame and they didn't want to be reminded of the crimes they committed (or willfully ignored) towards the Jewish people.

England did that, not Europe. It was the Balfour Declaration of 1917.

Or, in other words, it had nothing to do with the Nazis and WWII and, in fact, the declaration of intent was made before WWI was even officially over yet.

No one messes with the Palestinians. Anyone who does gets rockets lobbed at them.

No one messes with the Israelis. Anyone who does will get missiled by warplanes, then blaming all civilian deaths on the enemy.

And most likely, it won't hit anything.

There was a good graphic novel called Palestine by joe sacco which had a journalist drawing stories from his interviews. He went over the history (of balfour the wars etc) in picture form. He started out hating terrorists but becomes more on the arabs side in the book.

Doubt Joe Sacco is being truthful as to his original views.

You seem to be implying Arabs are the same thing as terrorists?

Okay we need to seperate this out:

We have Israelis, rational Palestinians, brainwashed Palestinians, and foreign terrorists.

The Israelis and the rational Palestinians could probably work out a peace deal on their own. However, you have brainwashed Palestinians blowing themselves up at the orders of the some crackpot or foreign terrorists that keep derailing the peace process. Of course the Israelis will then react to their citizenry being blown up and retailiate and the rational Palestinians get caught in the cross-fire.

Best thing for Israeli/Palestinian Relations would probably be regime change in Iran, cause the Iranian government is backing Hezbollah and Hamas.

You forgot about extremist Jews who cause trouble in the occupied territories. Also, some right-wing Israelis try to appear moderate but they are unwilling to make compromises.

And then you have the PA who are powerless to do anything which explains why Palestinians turn to extreme ways with dealing with things.

I hope this helps you OP, here are some books I've flicked through with stuff about the conflict in them. the first two are strongly pro-israel and anti-arab and have all their main arguements. all the rest are more anti occupation.
