Don't forget, under Obamorts plan, if you don't buy health insurance, you get to pay a 2,000 tax penalty for "free health care."

You won't be able to find a good lawyer or doctor in that country. All the good ones come here since they make way more money ("brain-drain" happens to be another setback of socialist countries)

Of course Lord Obama's ratings are dropping. We are in the midst of economic stagnation and the unemployment problem has not even been scratched.

Everything Obama has touched, thus far (with maybe two exceptions) has turned to sh*t.

Now it may just be that if McCaine were elected we would be in the same bad shape we are in now. It could be that Obama picked a bad time to be President and that no one could have done any better.

I don't recall anyone trying to paint that picture. I remember a lot of wrangling about how to get ANY coverage for people with preexisting conditions.

Cuba looks like a terrible place to live, but my canadian friends never seem to complain about their health care.

Well, one time, one of them had a stiff knee, and they booked him for a CT scan at 10pm on a friday 10 days out. Turns out that if you are not dying and it's just that your knee is a little stiff, you can wait.

It is just dumb to compare republican-care with Canada's working and tested health care system. Or to actually believe it is a communist ploy whereas it is the most capitalistic thing O'bama has done (the rest of what he did being neo-con far right shiot rather than capitalist)

Yes, that's right a gal who couldn't even keep a budget for herself is elected on a platform for fiscal responsibility. Once elected she uses her time on pushing creationism and thus making preventive measures against any sort of scientific progress in the US.

Yup. Joblessness makes life more exciting here in the good old USA. Being f****d over and left to die by health insurance companies that drop you when you get sick is also exciting. Life would be totally boring without such worries.

Also, maybe YOU should move if all you can do is whine about Obama. If you really think you're going to get rich some day and don't want to pay high taxes you could move to Singapore or maybe some oil rich Arab country. Or better yet you could move to Somalia and become a warlord or pirate. No taxes there.

You really think our govt should be dealing with our health care never mind the fact everytime our govt gets involved, the problem gets 10 times worst. We wouldn't be jobless if it wasn't for Obamort's f****d up policies.

Where are all the Canadians, Australians, Costa Ricans, etc... complaining about their horrible terrible beurocratic inefficient gubbermint run health insurance. In the not-so-distant past even conservatives supported single payer insurance. Even libertarian economists like Friedrich Hayek spoke in support of government provisions in terms of health insurance, basic welfare, etc... at one point. You people are nothing but reactionaries.

You have absolutely nothing to back that statement up so why should I even comment? You don't seem to realize that things could be MUCH worse (and likely WOULD get worse if insane reactionary teabaggers started setting the agenda).
