It worked. The NRA knew most of the overall legal strategy the Brady center gave DC for the Heller case. Some exact details would have been privileged information between city officials and it's lawyers.

That just means the 2A is playing by similar rules now. All the 2A lobby has to do now is make up whatever facts and figures they want when they want it and it will be an even playing field!

The NRA just broke their silence yesterday, and according to the news, will have a press conference today. They left a message saying everyone should work together to make sure that a tragedy never happened again.

One day, a bunch of upper-class white kids get shot, and suddenly even the NRA says "everyone should work together to make sure that a tragedy never happened again."

Sad commentary on how the lives of poor and minority children are in reality considered to be of less worth.

More than 400,000 Tobacco related deaths per year, and 35,000 fatal car accidents per year.

FYI, the NRA is not exclusive to WASPs.

The NRA is too inclusive of an organization to be honest, they'll give candidates high marks for insincere positions. Pandering to your constituency like Joe Manchin and Mark Warner. They should be a much higher threshold.
