I have a theory that aspies tend to be more socially liberal because we are not as easily swayed by meaningless emotional appeals, which is what social conservatism relies on. It's hard to make a purely logical argument against something like gay marriage or marijuana legalization, so neocons fill the gap with a bunch of slippery slope mumbo jumbo and fear.

this aspie is socially liberal because people calling themselves conservatives have a history of abusing him in multiple ways.

Maybe. It could work the other way, too. Aspies have less empathy than most people, so I would imagine that more of them would be against abortion or for deportation of immigrants.

Look what I can do!

I tried to approximate the views of Stefan10 and RushKing as I couldn't see the actual scores.

I also tried to change the "Authoritarian" label to "Evil Moderators Of Evil From The Pits Of Hell Who Censor Blazing Saddles", but I had trouble finding a matching font .

I'm a conservative. I'm also socially liberal. You will find that there are a fair few conservatives in Europe who are also socially liberal (but not social liberals - this is really just pseudo-social democracy) and libertarians as well. Classical liberals can sound conservative in the U.S. definition, but are not really.

Where does that put me? And I am a non-believer.

And GGPViper? Where am I on that list? Do you listen to Radio24syv's Europa i Flammer? I can't speak Danish but I'd love to hear more from Messerschmidt.

I couldn't find your results on the test in this thread, so I couldn't plot it in...

No test, no dot. Life is cruel, I know it...

Oh... and I generally don't listen to radio... It's filled with people... talking!

If I do the test, can you put my dot on your map?

Sure. All I need are the two scores.

I'm using this:

Aaaand.... Done.

Image

However, you hit the same score as Stefan10 (the software rounds down your score to the first decimal place), so the two of you will just have to share the same spot. Either that, or you just sunk his battleship...

This also means that it's now almost impossible to read *my* name on the graph .

Edit: Marc420, Dox47, Urist, thomas81, ruveyn added.

GGPViper, add me to the graph please. I see I have a nice big empty spot where my name can go!
