Just by the way, "Raptor" is an anagram of "Parrot" not eagle. I'm not suggesting anything by this, or that he should change his avatar to a parrot; just saying, since anagrams is a hobby of mine...

My last avatar caused too much butthurt to the ultra-sensitive. :P

Do you feel that having an avatar that is so heavily laden with symbology makes you more American than the average Yank?
Depends on what you call being an American; someone who just lives here and longs to live somewhere else because they hate this country OR someone who wouldn't live anywhere else and loves this country, right or wrong.

Honest question, because I see that stuff and my first thought is that the person is trying to hard to look patriotic.
We have a lot of *America haters here, both domestic and non-domestic, so I like to spread it on a little thick. :D

* They may not actually say they hate it but they whine and fuss so incessantly about this country's faults, both real and imagined, that they may as well just commit once and for all and say they hate it and be proud to hate it.

More like I'm jaded with both parties. I wish third parties could succeed in the U.S. Our country isn't as great in some aspects as you would think.

Well, I don't really like Republicans. But being a Republican is just one facet of a person. If the rest of the person is solid and intact, I can put up with them. I know people will say this is a strawman but you can sometimes tell a person's political orientation just by learning their personality. And the Republican personality I generally don't like.

Blah blah blah, I'm discriminating. Whatever.

Wow, that's quite the hand wave...

So, if you're doing something stupid and wrong and you know it's stupid and wrong but continue to do so anyway, what does that make you?

More of them did when Bush was in office. Now most Republicans are R.I.N.O.s anyway, basically they're Democrats running on the Republican ticket, so candidate wise the US has only a one party platform that is schizophrenic while debating itself.

I guess I should clarify. I meant what I said. I just added in the blah blah blah to be politically correct.
