Thee and thou are the informal ones. The English language mostly abandoned the informal versions, so they use the formal "you" for everyone. Old English (Anglo-Saxon) apparantly did not have a formal version.

Yet in modern usage it is the other way around; church people are usually intending great formality when they address God as Thou, as in the King James Bibles. 8)
