Another thing, if any more kids say anything rude about my bald patch, they will be for it!

Silence woman! You have no voice in this thread, it is a thread of the Lord:

Quote:
Women should listen and learn quietly and submissively. I do not let women teach men or have authority over them. Let them listen quietly. For God made Adam first, and afterward he made Eve. And it was the woman, not Adam, who was deceived by Satan, and sin was the result. But women will be saved through childbearing and by continuing to live in faith, love, holiness, and modesty. (1 Timothy 2:11-15 NLT)

Quote:
As in all the churches of the holy ones, women should keep silent in the churches, for they are not allowed to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says. But if they want to learn anything, they should ask their husbands at home. For it is improper for a woman to speak in the church. (1 Corinthians 14:33-35 NAB)

Besides, you don't have enough hate to be a Christian:
Quote:
(Jesus Speaking) If anyone comes to me without hating his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, and even his own life, he can not be my disciple. (Luke 14:26 NAB)

My uncle and his associates are all part of the fundamental christian church. My uncle is actually really liberal which was a massive surprise because I had him pegged as an extreme fundie.

Fundamentalism is an emotional approach to religion. There is no reason there are no critical thought processes. All that is consciously silenced. Instead they have buzzwords and catchphrases. Its all about the annhilation of the critical mind in order to completely and unquestioningly accept their conception of God. Im a little trapped because I haven't told them that under no circumstances will I be accepting all the tenets of their faith.

I think they think thatim going to be baptised (!) I could go along with it but my personal belief is that religion is inherently sacrosanct and to do so would be to not only lie to everyone there but would constitute trampling all over their religious convictions remorselessly.

Maybe I should start talking about Babylonian mystic practises and shamanic rites. Then they wont even let me inside their church lol

I love Jesus Christ and He is Lord! I always knew that. When I was 17 I got saved. But I knew something about this. I can't explain. God is so big and not really in the realms of human comprehension. I started reading the Bible and I believe He revealed himself through the Jewish culture and history so that we can understand at least part of HIM.

And Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and died on the cross and fulfilled scripture and came back to life and rose again and He died for our sins. He is definitely the Lord. But the Holy Spirit must convict your heart or it won't take. Many people will probably fall under delusion and be Godless. But if you really think about it. It makes perfect sense!

World was created. We were designed by God. We fell. God is perfection and we would perish in his sight
Jesus Christ came as a moderator between us and God. To see God you would surely die. Because of sin. But Jesus Christ paid for all sins. I am so glad that He saved me.
Welcome to the boards; don't let some of these folks get you down. They're not so much atheists as anti-theists, who don't want God to exist because it means they answer to Him.

Your narcissistic psychopathic god doesn't exist, he's just mythology, like Zeus, Odin and the rest of the gods that mankind has invented.

I'm an anti-theist and an atheist, you can be both. I would love to answer to him, I'm not the one letting evil happen all over the world and doing nothing about it.

I am an anti-theist for one simple reason, the crap peddled by religion of all persuasions affects peoples lives, some claim that this effect is on the whole good, I do not. What you and your fellow delusionists do not seem to get is this. If there were a god and a wonderful afterlife, and if that god was the God of the NT not the rapid, merciless c**t as depicted in OT I would be overjoyed. Unfortunately your evidence is essentially nonsense as it consists of handpicked stories which contradict each other and the known laws of the universe, a traceable history of meetings, debates and edicts leading to the idea of the Trinity, and lastly your own book talks of Jesus as a MAN who sincerely believed that the end of times was about to happen.

It is not a case of not wanting god to exist, instead it is a case of following the evidence where ever it leads, You on the other hand do not want the actual evidence to exist, as it strongly suggests there is, at the very least, no need for a creator. You stubbornly refuse to learn about physics, geology, and biology. You even refuse to delve into the historical reasons why christians today believe what they do,

Now you can believe whatever you want but do it alone, do not force this onto young kids and do not claim you have the answer to how other people should lead their lives or what status their chosen life should have in society.

If there is a God of ultimate compassion, then nobody has to answer for anything.Just being born here can be punshiment enough for the majority of humans.

The accent is weird where I live. When they try to say lord, it actually comes out lard. So every time I hear Jesus is Lard! I laugh my butt off. He is the Lard! The Lard is risen! LOL!

I guess that makes jesus the adipose from Dr. Who.

I have a theory also. Its that you don't want to look at it rationally because then you'd have to admit that your Sky-Daddy doesn't exist and then you wouldn't feel special anymore.

I spent over 30 years thinking the same way. I was 'part of the club,' we had the exclusive truth, and the rest were misled, in denial or worse.

To dismiss non-Christians as not wanting to be answerable to 'Him' is such a load of BS, and typical of the notions people are taught to believe. Maybe if you took the time to learn why people don't believe, you would not be inclined to be so simplistic and dismissive. Learn to use your own words rather than the notions, cliches and catchphrases you are taught.

When such ignorance is evident, it always comes with simplistic language that people latch onto. I can't even call it rhetoric, because rhetoric implies some amount of intelligence went into the comment. Instead, sheep are taught simplistic things to reinforce narrow thinking.

Most Christians aren't taught proper theology, because many would run if they were.

Nope, wrong. Guess again.
