Why Do Girls Wear Tighter and/or More Revealing Clothes?
Wearing clothes that helps other people identify gender facilitates non-verbal communication among NTs.
This is funny! (probably because it's true
Oh, it's true all right...

I guess you young folk have had so much exposure to the politically correct nonsense that everybody is exactly the same, that you actually believe it which then creates confusion when you observe that in reality, they are not.
For a start, Women are more aesthetically pleasing, whilst some men can look good when young if they spend a lot of time in the gym, generally, Women look good naturally, men have to work at it, especially as aging takes effect where Women themselves give up the tight clothes when they no longer have the figure to show off.
So basically, if you got it, flaunt it, and women have it more than men.
The other point is that men are more aroused visually than women, so women find they receive more male attention when they dress sexually, if men dress sexually, its just wrong, think of Borat in his thong, other men are going to find this disgusting, like men who show their genitals to little girls, and I think women would be more inclined to laugh at or find creepy men who dress so that their genitals outline is plainly on display.

Just pointing out that your comment could be taken as incredibly sexist.

Now I know why I don't go swimming anymore - no fun.
Well it _is_ true that "certain things" shrink in (cold) water. Moreover we feel a bit naked when wearing something revealing, especially since it's customary not to. However I guess I would have had this feeling even if I were a women, but as you say, you kind of have no choice if you want to fit in. I'm sorry about that, it's not for me to decide.
When you mention it, I have a pair of revealing tights for running. I use to say that tights is the most efficient running wear because the only thing that looks sillier than men running in tights is men walking in tights so you never ever take a break.

No matter where I go I will always be a Gaijin even at home. Like Anime? https://kissanime.to/AnimeList
On a hot day while unloading a truck men are allowed to take off their shirts, and undershirts, and go topless in public. Women are not allowed to do that.
You know, that thought hadn't even occurred to me, but you're right.
Swimwear. Why do women have to wear bikinis and skin tight one pieces and the men show up wearing these god-awful huge trunks that leave nothing to the imagination.
Confusion alert.
I think you wrote the opposite of you meant.
If you modestly cover yourself up then you are...leaving EVERY thing to the imagination (if folks cant see anything then they have to imagine everything.).
If you walk around naked you are "leaving nothing to the imagination" (because others dont have to imagine anything because they can see it all).
Mens big baggy trunks may not inspire your imagination, but since they cover the person up they leave everything to the imagination. The opposite of bikinis which leave relatively little "to the imagination".
I understand I wrote it incorrectly, but I wasn't feeling well enough to change it. Since you brought it up I had to agree that I made a boo boo.
Now I'd like some men to answer why they don't want to wear something more revealing themselves. Women pretty much have no choice.
Now I know why I don't go swimming anymore - no fun.
You need to join a health club that has a pool. Most men who swim laps for exercise wear Speedos---and they tend to be in the kind of shape where they don't look ridiculous in them.
I don't go to the beach very much anymore, but I had no problem wearing a Speedo or Ocean pool-type suit when I did. In fact, the lifeguards at the NY state beaches like Jones Beach and Robert Moses wore those Ocean suits.

You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits
Simple - guys want to attract girls, girls want to attract guys. Most guy's consider a woman's looks to be the or one of the most important factors in their attractiveness. Most girls do not put a guy's looks that high up on the list and look at other factors first (don't get me wrong, I've known women who place a guy's looks above all else, but that's not true of most women I know). Plus, whereas most guys find tight clothes on a good looking woman to enhance her looks, its not clear that guys necessarily look better to women if they are wearing something tight. So for a women its important to look good, and that includes tight clothes, makeup, hair, etc. For guys its not as important.
Oh, and by the way, look at how most married women dress vs. most single women. Once married, when attracting a guy is no longer as important, many women tend to lose the tight clothes, the long hair, and the fancy makeup.

I'm confused. On the other Aspie site most of the men said they like the "natural" look - no makeup or very little. Is that true? Or do most really like the fancy makeup? And if they don't, then how come Marilyn Monroe was so popular with the fake hair and monkey-butt red lipstick or the fact that the makeup industry brings in billions a year?
I think once a woman gets married, her husband wouldn't want her wearing tight clothes, long flowing hair and lots of makeup, would he?

This page tries to answer that question--if TV characters were real, which would you pick. The idea being that someone watching a long running serial comedy would naturally form an opinion.
Comfortable? Is wearing daisy duke dental floss comfortable?

LOL you are so obviously not attracted to men. I am and I can assure you that all sorts of men are attractive, not just the poster boys like Zac Effron. I find Peter Capaldi very attractive for instance. I do like the tight trousers that come with his Dr Who outfit and nicely tailored jacket.
Oh and old 70s early 80srock groups with their tight trousers. Why doesn't that look come back?!
Tightness of clothing is subjective as well. Take this top for example:
http://www.hm.com/gb/product/30566?article=30566-A
On this model it isn't all that tight and not very revealing. It's a top she would probably wear everyday because it goes with loads of other clothes and is relatively smart and comfortable. You can wear it to work with a smart pair of trousers or with jeans to go and meet your friends for a casual coffee.
However, if I wear this top it becomes a tight revealing top because I am more curvacious and have an hour glass figure.
If you look at her in the top you won't think she's trying to get male attention, but when I wear the top for the exact same reasons as her, suddenly it is sexual and it is assumed that I am trying to attract male attention, even though I am not. I feel like if I wear this top to work I will need to wear a cardigan over it so that no one stares at my boobs.
And that's where the whole concept of, "Not for your consumption" comes from. Just because any woman wears a particular piece of clothing does not mean she's doing it for the male gaze - or even woman's, if she's gay. It means she likes that garment, and it's wrong of our culture to shame women into having to decide otherwise. And NO, I don't have a solution!

The "solution" is simple: If you don't want to be looked at, then don't let yourself be seen. So ... wear a burka, hide in shadows, and switch on your invisibility fields!
Seriously though, it's not reasonable for anyone to go out in public and expect to not be looked at, ogled, and/or mentally undressed by some perv of either sex.
And if they stare,
Just let them burn their eyes
On you moving!
And if they shout,
Don't let them change a thing
That you're doing!
Hold your head up, woman!
Hold your head up, woman!
Hold your head up, woman!
Hold your head high!
- lyrics from "Hold Your Head Up" by Argent, 1974
