Trump is an economic socialist.

The “Socialist” Won

Socialists are wrongly considered "right wing" because of NAZI.

Read your own damn article. The article isn't saying that Trump is a socialist. It's saying that other politicians are called "socialist" by Republicans when they do what Trump does.

The Republicans don't even know what socialism is. That's the point.

If the billionaires still control everything, it's still capitalism.
If the means of production are still privately owned, it's still capitalism.

The "pure capitalism" that LOLbertarians want can't exist.

Right, that's why conservatives openly jumped ship to Clinton and Trump took the working person vote.

Trump favors government control, big spending, pro-citizen socialist economic ideas.

He wants a 1 Trillion dollar "great national infrastructure" spending program.
He wants tariffs on cheap imports.
He cancelled TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership "free trade" deal)
He wants to renegotiate all the free trade deals to favor American workers.
He has reduced work visa "cheaper labor" immigration.
He promises that federal contracts will use "American made" products ("buy America" executive order).
He created "Made in America" day and week.

Hyper-nationalist, coddles white supremacists, actively promotes policies that appeal to social reactionaries in spite of trying to pretend to be more sympathetic to socially progressive causes than most extreme right politicans...

What I find more interesting is why people think the so called shakeup of the Washington, is somehow bettered by this s**tshow?

Trump doesn't change the broken system of American politics, he just makes it more obvious.

There is an obvious need for campaign caps, both on how long it goes on and also on the money. Surprisingly little policy detail is discussed in this time too, meanwhile the focus it taken away from actually running the country. You could have more debates with more focus on the policy an less on the personalities. There is an obvious need to for more transparency both in regard for lobbies and general donors. This is becuase the democratic principles are not longer holding up. I also think as in the UK, that all political donors should be citizens and it should be all declared. The two thing are related, so long as it is massively expensive to run political parties and run for office, corruption will occur. Don't be so naive to think that Trumps wealth somehow alleviates that. He still has it own interest, his cronies also have their own interests.

What do I think of his administration? The people he have hired are slowly cannibalizing themselves. it is more about egos and personalities that ever, very little clue or experience. They are too busy trying to one up each other, rather than cooperating.

This firing at the hip approach to problems it going to strain even the most ardent supporter's patience. I don't see this going a second term, it is being run like a clown act. I recon a lot of money will be wasted and then the s**t will hit the fan.

Trump has already shown he is scientifically illiterate, think he could put solar panels on his wall. He clearly doesn't know the basics of solar power efficiency, and transport of energy. I expect that whole project will be a white elephant. Then again this is the guy that said the the CFCs from his hairspray won't leave his "sealed" apartment. Why does he actually go into a sealed room and see how that work out for him?

When trump says he builds things, he actually doesn't. Generally what happens orders the construction of conventional buildings every now and them, then doesn't pay his contractors. He then will use any legal means to weasel out of it, such as declaring bankrupt, which records say he has done 6 times. His realty experience is mostly selling himself that is pretty much his entire business. He is good at that, but that is about it. He isn't even self made. His understanding of global trade is extremely limited, as it relates poorly to his sector.

Still that doesn't address why people voted for him, and the overall poor choice.

Hillary is as much symptomatic of the problem as Trump is.

Hillary Clinton had been on the national scene as long as her husband had been, during which she had made her Presidential ambitions known, and been blasted all that time by republicans for them. Trump, on the other hand, was a TV celebrity who most of his base knew little about, save that he was rich, flamboyant, and outspoken. Those parts of the electorate who are guided more by their emotions than their intellect (who are most people in general) had decided Trump was the better choice.

Hilary was selfish, she put herself above the party regardless of Trumps ambitions. She sunk the party.

Yes, she sunk the Democratic party - - for the time being.
