Globalism doesn't mean erasing countries as political entities. Cooperation between nations towards common goals is a good thing (depends on how it's done and what the goal is). The thing is, there are organizations who benefit from the lack of cooperation, and they fear that a common goal might be to threaten their lives of corruption and theft.
Divided we fall.
The weakening and erasing of borders is still more or less the ultimate goals that the powers that be want to succeed.
