Can countries survive globalization?

Works in Europe. They have nations and yet you can cross the border in a car while barely slowing down. What's so evil about that? It just means we all get along, and that those across the border are also economically prosperous.

People might be against globalism because it means they might have to mix with people of ethnic groups other than their own.

They think it's a zero sum game where if one country benefits, another country loses. True to some extent in the manufacturing industry, but not so overall.
