People did vote for him... This is the legality, don't care where he is born or what's his official citizenship.

I ever hated some parts of the laws and mentalities, those making people in boxes : Japanese, French, Turkish, American, black, white, Jew, Christian, old, young, fat, pretty, ugly, weird, gifted, worker, job seeker and whatever they might imagine. Categories are so often conducting to forget that all people are different and have their own singularity that shouldn't be negated...

Actually, that is not so clear cut. The term "natural born citizen" could allow for someone born in Canada to become a US President, provided they had a claim to US citizenship when they were born ... for example, if one or both parents were US citizens.

I know this makes you feel better, and gives you something to feel outraged about. Did you know they stopped the injunction of showing dead bodies of service people coming home to Dover AFB and now the flag draped coffins are being shown hauled off the transport planes? If the families don't want specific coffins shown, they won't, but no families have asked for privacy as yet. Is that also an outrage that appeals to you?

He does not have to make it public.

He cannot become president without the judiciary. They have verified it. They have not always sided with democrats.

Blindly following “forefathers” has resulted in quite a bit of stupidity and lack of progress. What is this reason exactly? Just because something is old doesn't make it right.

There have been a countless American citizens that were not born in America that have contributed a lot. They might have lived in the US their whole life bar months and weeks.

that reminds me, Fuzzy wuzzy, while the religious right ruled this fair land of mine, I knew it was going to be a trial to them because I didn't know how they were going to reconcile having Christ as "King", and all of them as 'servants' to the King, and calling their Deity "Lord" and such. I am far too much of a (SMALL d) democrat for that sort of kowtowing.

ive tried to _convince_ americans, that YES they CAN LOSE, at _some_ point, ANYONE can lose. "no, cus our technology - " yes yes the technology, as if nobody else has the technology, iran india and pakistan all have "the technology" by now anyway, and even if they didnt, reality stays the same.

thats what i LIKE about OBAMA is that he is a NORMAL FACE. bush was ABNORMAL. and as a non-american, it was sad and tiresome to see america represented in an abnormal way, i feel sorry for the intelligent americans, but now, with some luck, america can present itself, and be like... germany, or italy.. a normal country, not some "decadent insane empire lead by a complete moron"

i dont even see him as black, just NORMAL

Well, no. There's more to being elected than that. These kinds of laws exist for a very good reason: making sure Schwarzenegger never gets near the White House.

Aren't the children of US citizens considered automatically to be US citizens? Obama's mother was from Kansas.

any child born in the US is considered a citizen, no matter what citizenship their parents are.
