The Biblical position on homosexuality is unwaivering throughout the book.
That may be, but what about those of us who don't believe in such tripe? Do you think others should be forced to life under religious rule because fundies (hell, even non fundies) somehow know whats best for us? Whether or not it is frowned upon in a book that may not have even been written by/inspired by a "god" does not give religious people a right to force the rest of us to live to their standards.
Yes, I support homosexuality. They're not hurting anyone. They deserve the same civil rights as straights have. Adopting kids, civil unions, etc. They, too, are people, regardless of their sexual orientation.
"Because the bible says so" is a sick and sad reason to deny anyone their rights or to treat anyone poorly (different races come to mind, as well as Aspies.) Religious people do not know whats best for others, and they should stop acting like it (George Bush and the Fundie Friends come to mind).
