Does anyone else agree with feminism?

well, the thread title asked me if i agreed with feminism - i dont need to read 20 pages of posts to give an answer. Now if i had started another thread about my own greivences then peole would have complained that it has already been done - no win situation. how many people have time to read that much?
again, so far i have only had one person (thehouseholdcat) respond to anything i have said without an attitude. if i get attitude then i will return it.
to be honest with you, i am always willing to listen to others opinions but the attitude shown so far has only gone to prove all the mens rights activists to be telling the truth - that femisists mock or react badly when you question feminism.
its a forum, i have every right to wade into things at any time i choose.

naturally you don't *have* to read anything at all, but you posted on a thread while intentionally not reading the prior posts THEN you told us what we supposedly think. of course, you have no idea what we think because you didn't read what we posted.
i am not sure why you would expect anything less than attitude from us if you come into a thread... sporting an attitude.

err im not sure that i, at any point, told you what you think. i came into the thread with my thoughts regarding the original question, i was then mocked so out came my attitude. i never entered the thread with an attitude. still you dont seem to want to discuss the actual topic of the thread.
i was first driven to anti-feminsim when i realised how badly men were being mocked in the media. every advert shows a clever woman and a stupid man. one of the first things i was told when i looked up anti-feminism was how feminists reacted to criticism:
"they respond by either mocking you or by aggression"
yep!

you said what feminists think, but you ignored my words. i am a feminist and i have spoken for myself in the thread.
if i am mocking your aggression, maybe you should choose a different tactic than aggression in an internet forum. or was i supposed to be intimidated?

Hey, DarkMage. Hi. I'd say it's nice to meet ya, but I'd currently be lying. I know you can't actually see them, but I've got both Y chromosomes and male genitals attached, and generally consider myself an advocate of gender equality. I've been a victim my whole life of stereotypes re: men and how they're supposed to act, and I am here to tell you this:
Get over yourself.

ohhhh i misread what you said, i thought you were saying that we mock your aggression. i would definitely do that. it's much more fun than actual aggression.
of course, i haven't actually mocked you, but that website you linked was full of mockery.

What about janitors?
Do you really think feminists want to send women to your bathroom?
I would comment the rest of the things you said, but I didn't read them and don't plan to.

Dark Mage,
how do you feel about women in general?
Do you not view your wife/partner as equal to yourself?
Feminism just means wanting women to have equal rights, I dont see what so disagreeable about that. Its not the same as misandrist.
People could make the same confusion with people who wanted equal rights for all races and confuse them with race supremacists, they are not the same at all.

like i said before, i believe everyone should have equal rights. me an my partner have our own roles. she does the things that she is better at such as cleaning ( i also do the cleaning but not as good as her), washing etc. i take care of all the finances, DIY, and generally traditional male things. I still do the hoovering, wahing up, bringing washing in from the line etc. it just HAPPENS that this is how it has worked out.
im a father and probably do 60% of the parenting. I educate and morally teach my daughter what she needs to learn.
women SHOULD have equal rights.
However, in britain things have defintely gone wrong. instead of women becoming equal, men are being abused at every opportunity. adverts on TV always show the clever woman and the idiot male. Women can have "women only" things but for men this is no longer allowed. Fathers can not see their kids because the law is ALWAYS in favour of women. men ARE demonised at every opportunity.
MOST of the time, women here have the attitude that they only want equal rights when it suits them. this really irritates me. they want equal rights but at the same time they EXPECT men to pay for everything, they expect men to still do all the men things AND the women things.
again, just to make sure that everyone has heard - I am all for equal rights.

Ah so your not really against feminism , you are just also in favour of mens rights too.
You should read Stephen Bidulphs (author of raising boys and secrets of happy children) book 'Manhood' its very good talking about mens lives and rights.
